City Living: How to Save Apartments to the Gallery – Intact

I do not take credit for this, I saw somebody do it when I was looking at rooms on the gallery.  I thought I would share the technique here.  The problem with apartments is that they save as individual rooms.  That kind of stinks because I don’t want to be putting together puzzle pieces!

Solution?  Knock out the bit of wall where each room has a door and then you can save the entire apartment as one unit!  Just put in the description to put the wall/doors back where the holes are located.  Please remember to properly label the location of your apartments.  It’s close to impossible to figure out where they go if the address isn’t included in the title or description.

Check out the screens below to learn how to do this step-by-step:

You’re only able to share one room at a time when they’re closed down with walls and doors:

However, you can upload an entire apartment room by simply removing the doors, deleting one piece of wall and leaving an empty space.

Once you click on the floor the entire apartment will count as one room. You can now save it on the gallery:

Note:  This was first published by me on my tumblr, if this looks familiar to some of you!
