The Sims 4 The Sims Mobile

Will The Sims Mobile influence The Sims 4 Development? SimGuruDrake answers!

So, you’re probably wondering if the recent announcement of The Sims Mobile will influence (or have already influenced) the development of The Sims 4. SimGuruDrake answered some of the questions on The Sims Forums, assuring simmers that both The Sims Mobile and The Sims 4 are equally important to Maxis and that The Sims 4 still has a bright future with no plans to stop the game development any time soon.

Here’s what she said:

Our Mobile Family is just as important to us as our PC Family. They are sitting on equal footing with having their own focused areas.

1. The Sims Mobile has zero affect on what is going on with the PC product. They are separate teams within Maxis and one does not affect the other.
2. The Sims 4 is still going strong and we have no plans to stop development anytime soon, I’ve stated this many times previously.
3. You do not know the size of our teams or how many employees we have on either team so trying to spell out “doomsday” on a product that was stated as being in good standing by our CEO today doesn’t seem like a good use of your time.

So #DontPanic and give our mobile family a chance to show you what they are capable of.

  • Can we please just switch development teams cause the PC team clearly are the dumb ones of the bunch cause they don’t know how to market or make a game enjoyable…

  • Sims 4 needs more worlds, an open map, being able to walk to one another’s house without a loading screen, cars, more expansion packs. Just for starters.
