The Sims 2

The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection has received a Small Update on Origin

If you have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection in your Origin Library then you’ve probably noticed that there’s been a small update for the game.

According to a Reddit member wallewatz, the update was released to further improve the stability of the game for people running the game on the Windows 10 operating system.

The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection was temporarily released for free in July 2014 as a part of a special Origin promotion. Even though the game was available to be claimed for only a week, people are reporting to this day that they’re able to get the game completely free of charge from EA Customer Support.

    • You have to go to redeem game or somthing like that and digite the code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS. Thats how it worked back then…
Hope they fixes the glitches cause i couldn’t play it on Windows 10 whithout the walls going crazy…

      • I don’t think this works anymore, the way I did it yesterday was by contacting the EA live chat, opened a ticket for the sims2, promotions and discounts and just said I heard about the promotion a while ago but that I missed it and would love to play the sims 2 again for nostalgic reasons and he just asked me my name, asked me to log out of my origin and when I logged back in it was there, only took like 5/10 minutes.

  • I can confirm you can still get the game for free if you ask politely. I got it after 1 try (might depend on how kind the person that you’re talking to is idk)

  • Is the two skintones next to the top bottom a hint to The Sims 4 Seasons comming?. Maybe is a feature for when summer arrives and we get to skin tanning our sims.
