The Sims Team published a brand new trailer for The Sims 4 Dine Out!
I love it!
It's much more involved than I thought! Lots of game play owning a restaurant!
I love this, ah i love the little interactions customers have like the children drawing while waiting for food. i hope the food menu allows all the foods in the game
I haven't watched the whole thing through yet, but I noticed some more evidence of gender conversions. Lady on the far left of the screen, specifically her shoes, shirt and jeans.
Edit: also the lady on right. It's hard to see, but I'm pretty sure those are the men's cropped chinos with the folded hem.
There's so many possibilities for different restaurants!
I'm a bit upset that it looks like women, who have way more clothing and hairstyles, will get even more, but nothing new for men.
I'm planing at least six, one for each clothing category.
It looks like there's a limit.
It's hard to tell, in past pictures it looks like men got some of the necklaces and shoes from the women's categories. From what little we've seen it looks like they're simply converting things that already look unisex, like simple necklaces, tennis shoes, tank tops and ripped jeans. I also don't think they'll convert anything except basegame stuff.
Female sims technically get more clothing, but I think men's clothing is more versatile generally.
It upsets me. Especially when trying to dress boys. They have, like, one formal pair of pants! And since a few Packs back, they get zero content made for them, just girl's unisex clothing also enabled for them. I fear with an unisex CAS men may also get less and less content because they can just convert unisex clothing.
This game really needs to be more balanced in CAS terms, across ages and genders.
