A new collaboration between The Sims 4 and Spongebob brings two unique Kits your way!
EA has just dropped some first information about the upcoming Kits titled The Sims 4 Spongebob’s House Kit and The Sims 4 Spongebob Kids Room Kit. Done in collaboration between Maxis game studio and Nickelodeon TV network that owns the SpongeBob brand.
The two Kits are expected to drop this week on December 4th, 2025.

The Sims Team released a new blog post detailing about the release of these two new Kits. Announcing The Sims 4 Bikini Bottom Bundle which will be available for a limited time until March 3rd, 2026. When you’ll be able to get the two Kits for the price of $9.99USD. Each Kit release is priced at 6.99USD seperately, or a price equivalent to your local currency.

Not being able to say this is stupid is crazy. Where’s Katy Perry perhaps it’s time she makes a kit…look at all these hungry players ready to drop coin for things that could have been CC… I rather give money to CC creators than branded garbage like this. why aren’t we giving independent creators this much attention? why are we acting like sponge bob is an actual person and we can’t say it’s ridiculous but we’re okay with dissing actual independent creators? Gtfo no one on that credit list of sponge bob ever did me any good and they have Nickelodeon. Sponge bob is fine let people not like sponge bob and that includes voicing their opinions that you might not like. I’m very uncertain about whether to leave my (positive) thoughts on this here or not, as those downvotes can be mildly annoying.
You always have to keep in mind that we as a collective of Simmers have raised ourselves with a franchise that allowed us to completely run the lives of people without their say for more than decades. We go in neighbourhoods, evict, rename, reface, warp bodies, kill family members, import foreign goods sometimes WITHOUT paying our skilled fake brand gods, force breeding, force labor, etc. We said “I don’t care” to what our sims wanted by x’ing their queued tasks and removing their wants and wishes for ours. For some of us this philosophy made its way into IRL. It’s our way our the highway baby. That being said I never watched SpongeBob or cared for it. I was too busy watching soap operas that my grandma left on the tv. I don’t think it shows does it?

Why are they limited time? I don’t want them, but someone will in the future and then they’ll be out of luck. First the limited time events and now this? Why put the effort into designing stuff that most players won’t ever be able to access? What’s the point? It makes me want it even less knowing they’re trying to FOMO players into a purchase.

no getting them as a bundle is limited time you can strill buy them seperate but the discount is limited. so instead of 9.99 for the two you get to pay 13.98 as their 6.99 each

The fomo is in the bundle. The bundle is time limited with 3 bonus items that won’t be available afterwards. Just like they do for Expansion packs but this time for kits.

Absolutely not. Where’s the creativity? I don’t want any of these collabs. For some of you I feel like you guys don’t mind The Sims 4 looking like Fortnite with 5 minute ads hitting you every 10 minutes. Can we stop turning The Sims into one big franchise creep. No Simpsons, no Fairly Odd Parents, no Doja Cat, no Katy Perry, no Tesla, no Google, no Coca-cola….NONE OF IT!

Some of the items are really cute. I would use some of it. I can see it working for a seafood restaurant or for a sailors home. Could also work for making a child’s play place. I really love the cute Crusty Crab doll house.

I’m actually not mad at the kids room one, but I am mad about the combined price. At $9.99, the bundle is stuff pack priced without the new gameplay or the usual number of items in a stuff pack.
This will actually be really good. Like I’m not the biggest Spongebob Fan, and always preferred Fairly Odd Parents growing up. But like….finally some SEA themed items for Mersims.

Are you kidding me? EA has officially run out of ideas and is now flogging a dead horse. This is the best they could come up with for a kit? I don’t think it will be long before we hear that EA has reconsidered it’s stance on creating “The Sims 5”, or at least one can hope.
There are no words to properly express my lack of interest in these kits.
Sigh… please are they kidding? Everything is so childish in Sims 4, give The Sims House Party or Sims 2 Ikea stuff pack back… Even for people that like Spongebob, this looks so barebones. No new gameplay, those wall stickers dont have any depth, is like they literally just copy pasted stuff and made a meshless thing as an object.
I may not like SpongeBob but in a wired way this is kind of cute.
