The Sims 4 Royalty CC for CAS Showcase
Historical Royal Looks
Where better to start than historical looks from throughout time, from Ancient Greece to Medieval England? We’ve got you covered!
Crispinette Headpiece and Braided Buns Hair – Simverses

On our trip through time, we start with these buns, veils, and headpieces by Simsverse. Modelled after the veils and headwear worn by nobility, princesses, and ladies in waiting in 15th-century England. Make sure to check out the rest of Simsverse collection on Tumblr linked below, as there are plenty of historical conversions from The Sims 2 and The Sims Medieval!
Cape Sword Outfit Conversion – Simsverse

Another piece of custom content from Simsverse (I said they were good)! This conversion from The Sims Medieval contains outfits and crowns for Sims of all ages, perfect for the little prince who dreams of following in his father’s footsteps. All the outfits come with an optional sword variant, allowing your Sims to show off their favourite weapon on their hip.
Egyptian Bead Collar – BokchoiJo

Now, travelling even further back in time, we have the Egyptian Bead Collar by BokchoiJo on Patreon. This is perfect for those reenacting ancient history, or any players who see Cleopatra as their CAS muse! Make sure to check out the rest of BokchoiJo’s collection of CC from around the world, including a brilliant set of burqas and niqabs.
Vulture Crown – Maleficent King

You can complete the Ancient Egyptian look with Maleficent King’s Egyptian Vulture Crown, converted to The Sims 4 from an original mesh from The Sims 2.
Olympian Long Dress – JulieBFMV

A quick trip across the Mediterranean, and we’re in Ancient Greece. And yes, I know Olympians are gods, but that’s sort of a monarchy, right? These dresses do require meshes from another creator, so make sure to follow the correct links when downloading.
Shenzhou Dress – SixCirclesCC

And let’s spin the globe and travel to Ancient China circa 200 BCE. This dress by SixCirclesCC is inspired by the 2002 film ‘Hero’ with swatches inspired by Chinese ink paintings. SixCirclesCC has a brilliant collection of Chinese-inspired clothing, many of it suitable for nobility of the period!
Real Life Royal Fits
Believe it or not, royalty still exists around the world! Here are some outfits and accessories inspired by real nobility and cultures from across the globe.
Princess of Dress IV – Rusty’s

Who doesn’t know this iconic look? This dress is inspired by Princess Diana’s “Revenge Dress”, which the late Princess wore to a dinner in 1994 after her husband, the now King Charles III, admitted to adultery on TV.
With 24 swatches, this dress is perfect for any princess experiencing a scandal!
Traditional Thai Wedding Dress – MsSims Mars Bergman

Royals aren’t royals without hosting the biggest wedding of the year! With 7 swatches, this diamond-encrusted dress isnpired by the upper crust of Thai society, is sure to turn heads at your noble Sims’ royal weddings.
Queens Hair Set – Daylife Sims

These regal updos by Daylife Sims are inspired by British nobility. These hairs come in all EA swatches, with optional gradient versions for Queens unafraid of hiding their roots. The creator has also posted other similar hairs, so make sure to check them out!
Men’s Royal Uniforms – MelonSloth

This set of 3 male uniforms is inspired by British, Swedish, and Japanese nobility. Every outfit has at least 2 swatches, with the British uniform having a whopping 12! You can dress your Sims in style with MelonSloth’s outfits, as well as their other creations!
Regalia Hijab – REGALIA

This is the second Hijab created by Regalia. For those unfamiliar with Regalia’s work, they create a wide variety of formal and royal looks, with the latest collection inspired by Bridgerton! Make sure to check out the rest of their free content (After downloading this hijab and dress combo, of course!)
The Crown Set – REGALIA

Another set by Regalia now, this time an extensive collection of 7 formal dresses fit for a queen. Each dress has several swatches and patterns suitable for every occasion, with each dress being named after real-life royals!
Male Crown – GlitterberrySims

Unlike the Medieval crowns shown previously, this pearl and silver crown by GlitterberrySims is sure to fit any wannabe-royal’s head. Despite being called “Male Crown”, it can be used on female nobility too, as discovered after some testing!
The Naija Collection Part 1 & 2 – Ice-CreamForBreakfast & OBiGem

With part of the upcoming world of Ondarion being inspired by West Africa, we couldn’t not showcase some excellent West-African-inspired CC. This collaboration includes 2 dresses, a jumpsuit, a Gele, a necklace, earrings, 2 kaftans, a suit jacket and pants, and 2 male caps. Not to mention the extensive number of swatches available in both patterned and plain variations. You can find links to both parts below!
African Love Collection – FrenchieSimGirl

Another African-inspired collection, this time by FrenchieSimGirl, containing 10 new items, from dresses to dashikis. The set also includes a headwrap and a flower hairpin! Make sure to check out the toddler addition set for your tiny noble tots.
Pop Culture Nobility Outfits
While yes, we do have royals in the real world, some of the most iconic looks come from the land of fiction. With royalty existing throughout media, from fantasy to sci-fi, let’s take a look at some of the most iconic looks available to our Sims.
The Bridgerton Collection – REGALIA

Make your Sims the ‘Diamond of the Season’ with Regalia’s Bridgerton collection. This recreation of various looks from Netflix’s hit show is sure to rubberneck at your noble Sims balls and parties. These 5 Base Game compatible dresses come in 10 swatches each and are available for Sims Teen-Elder. Check it out!
Padmé Picnic Dress & Hair – Buzzard

The words “Star” and “Wars” may bring on a war flashback for Simmers, but this outfit from Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones is much more subtle in its inspiration. Worn by Natalie Portman in the movie, this outfit is perfect for noble Sims trying to unwind in nature. This set comes with the main dress, hair, and optional hair accessories for those iconic space buns.
Princess Leia Hair Set – Buzzard

Speaking of space buns, Padme’s daughter technically did it first! These recreations of Leia Organa’s hair from A New Hope knock the existing Leia hair in the Base Game out of the park. Both hairstyles are base game compatible and come in all EA colours! Make sure to check out the rest of Buzzard’s work if you’re looking for more period accurate hairs for your historical gameplay!
Princess Collection – Arethabee

Create the perfect unruly heiress with this recreation of Anne Hathaway’s iconic looks from the 2001 movie ‘The Princess Diaries’. Arethabee has included 4 full looks, including 8 different items, including the iconic headphones. ImVikai has created a second part to this collection, featuring 3 hairs inspired by the film.
Sansa Stark Dress – Simmring

For those looking to have their Sims take the Iron Throne, then look no further. Simmring has recreated Sansa Stark’s dress from Seasons 7 and 8 of Game of Thrones. This one-piece dress has been noted to cause clipping issues for larger Sims, so be warned.
Glinda the Good – Mima Busowg

Last year, we covered Mima Busowg’s iconic recreation of Glinda’s ‘Bubble Dress’ from the first movie, but the creator is back with recreations of the outfits worn by Ariana Grande in ‘Wicked: For Good’. The set includes both the gown and the optional shoulder ruffles, perfect for recreating Gillikik Country’s favourite ‘witch’.

Appreciate this! I think now is a good time to spotlight alternatives (mods, cc, etc.) to some of what’s being offered in the new EP for those who no longer feel comfortable financially supporting EA, especially when it comes to West African representation (or pretty much any African representation) and royal gameplay. While I particularly struggle to find maxis match West African cc, there are so many amazing and hardworking creators in the community who’ve been filling these gaps for years!
Love these. Is there a link for the white peplum dress in the first image? I thought it would be part of The Crown set by Regalia, but it isn’t.
The author suggests that you should check out the Naija Collection listed in this article!
TY for the recs! I am in the process of a special update for the noble/royal stuff, for the new EP. So check back! Also, holding on updating the crowns until we see what changes they made for crowns overall.
You can find a gallery with all my CAS stuff here. The updated outfits are moved to the top.
Amazing! Please do a furniture one too!!
It would be nice if they added more different nobles, ranging from Japan to Scandinavian royalties and ancient royalty like China and Korea. I guess I will have to try it out the new expansion pack.
