You can choose to watch ads from the mail box at home or any other locations. There are many rewards including Simoleons you can earn by watching ads.

Each Ad can give you up to 100+ Simoleons on top of what you’ve earned. Most ads last up to 30 seconds so it is worth considering.
Tips: the longer your shift the more bonuses you can get.
An EXTRA way (OPTIONAL)
You will unlock the second playable sims slots for free once you reach level 4. You will have to use SimCash* to unlock the third (175 SimCash) and fourth (515 SimCash) sim slots (Note: there is NO free way to unlock them). Once you unlock, it will permanently stay in your game.
Should we consider paying for extra slots?
Knowing that it cost 690 SimCash to unlock the both sim slots, having an extra or 2 playable sims in your game is the most optimistic way to quickly earn more Simoleons.
Having more sims → more work → more Simoleons
*Tips:
You can slowly earn FREE SimCash through gameplay:
- Level up: you will receive SimCash when you level up;
- Complete Quests: try to complete as many quests as you can;
- Watch Ads from mail box: again, 30 seconds is worth considering!

The fastest way is to purchase SimCash (using real money) in store, wait for the occasionally special bundles (that includes SimCash) appear and get the best one that suits you. Then again, it is just another option.
