The Sims 4 Infant and Toddler Improvements: Official Feedback Info
We announced Infant updates in our latest Quality of Life Roadmap, and now our devs need your help prioritizing and address improvements. Please keep feedback specific and constructive (specific examples help!).
- Most frustrating Infant/Toddler autonomy behavior? What happens + what you’d prefer instead.
- Any non-autonomy issues hurting fun? Interactions, pacing, tuning, UI, etc.
- Thoughts on Infant Need Balance (not bug related)? • Say which Need (Hunger, Energy, etc.) • Share what you like and/or dislike
- If you could change one small thing, what would it be?
Thanks for helping us make improvements that matter.

You can send in your feedback only if you have a Discord account and have joined the EA Discord group linked above. The forum thread is linked in the #feedback-forum > Infant & Toddler Feedback Forum

The Sims 4 Infant and Toddler Improvements should be delivered some time between March and August 2026. Along with updates to Sim Autonomy and fixes for Crashes and data loss.
March through August
We’re going to be investigating improvements on these areas:
- Sim autonomy: such as Sims choosing inappropriate locations for certain actions, being obsessed with certain objects, or NPC interrupting conversations and other behaviors. Additionally, a large focus on improving Sim sleeping behavior and eyelid animations.
- Infant improvements: improving infant and caregiver autonomy, plus ensuring infants receive the correct milestones, interactions, and buffs.
- Crashes and data loss: including fixes for black photo issues and the game freezing or crashing.
