But why would they do that if the game is not available for everyone until 2018?
It is available already at Spain, Brazil, and Australia. They do it so that they could get feedback, test the servers from those player, and since this is a soft launch, it means EA can change core features whenever they want, until they are comfortable with in-game mechanics. There are players who stop playing this because the core mechanics keeps changing, so doing a soft launch will help the devs to know what feature they should or shouldn’t add, before releasing it worldwide.
