Omg I love it! I hope it will have more gameplay depth than Ranch for example. As we all know it’s hard to judge by trailer only but fingers crossed <3
It feels like to me that they started in a niche aethestic area (historical) and tried to build a pack around that instead of around a feature concept (like owning a small business) which led to a lot of what appears to be overlap with pre-existing pack’s features. While I’m happy to see the West African representation the fact that it’s limited to one neighborhood instead of the entire world and the other two neighborhoods appear to be Euro-centric is personally disappointing. It feels to me more like they shoe-horned the representation in rather than fully embracing it.
I’m quite glad that other than the West African build/buy nothing really piques my interest. I was always going to sit out future paid DLC regardless so it helps to not feel like I’m missing out as much as it could have been. I hope that for those that really like historical play (and are still buying DLC) that this scratches that itch because that aesthetic hasn’t been covered as much outside of CC.
From the few we’ve seen in that trailer, the African kingdom looks more North African Arab than West African when it comes to environement and architecture.
But yeah they put West African demographics in it and the interiors look kinda West African too. I guess that’sz what EA meant by “culturally ambiguous”.
I quit buying after this news about Saudi Arabia. Big chance I will never play Gibby thing or Business & No Hobbies. I have to figure out how to get Royalty & Legacy without paying muslims…
This… looks interesting…
i love how africans have to share representation when no other cultures ever have after 20+ years. they wouldn’t even do a seperate pack, do they know the racism is very obvious
