SimGuruMegs has confirmed that we won’t need to get The Sims 4 City Living in order to play with Lot Traits. Instead, they’ll be patched into a base game.
She also stated that they’ll definitely consider to add new lot traits in future packs.
It’s been confirmed that along with City Living there are around 20 lot traits. You can see some of the examples down below:
Are we going to be forced to have at least one trait on a lot we’re living on or is it optional whether we would want to use this or not?
That’s a good question, the gurus can’t talk about that yet but it will be a question to ask once they can.
I presume their optional, Unlike sims
In one stream, there was a lot without any traits so I assume you dont need them.
After finding out apartments are world exclusive lot traits were the only thing that I was really excited about in this expansion pack, and now they’re free… guess I saved some money there
Keep in mind to get most of the traits in the trailer, like “Good School” or whatever it is you will need to purchase the EP.
Considering its TS4 I’m not holding my breath for these to actually add any significant gameplay, and I’m sure once modders figure them out we’ll have loads more than the initial 20

I think there is only about 2 or 4 traits will include in patch. And the rest of it in City Living 🙂 especially earthquake xD
I can’t wait to try the traits out, I am hoping here is one that compliments my more criminal sims lol! I also noticed that in some of these pics there are posters and decals on the doors, that will be awesome if its really in the game.
