The Sims 4 Island Living comes with four new careers including the part-time Diver career. This is just one of three new part-time careers that your Sim can join.
As with any career, your Sim can join the Diver career simply by sitting down at a laptop/computer, using their cell phone or by the career tab on the user interface.
Note: Your Sim can have more than one part-time job, providing that the shift times do not conflict with each other.
Like most of the careers in the game, your Sim will go to work and return at the end of their shift. There is also no work from home assignments for this career.
The Diver career also comes with three levels that can be found detailed below.

Note: The promotion tasks state you need to find a Diving Buoy in order to purchase the required items. You will need to find the correct one that is located in the deeper water areas in Sulani to complete these tasks. The Diving Buoy will also have other items other than the ones required for the promotions.

You need to find the one on deep sea water. The ones near corals are not the one, as the sea is not deep enough. It is not on the volcano area nor on the town area. I don’t remember the name of the area, but is the one on the left.
It’s outside of the empty space in Mua Pel’am
It’s way out in the deep water.

Use the code ‘bb.testingcheats on’, and press ‘shift’ and click on your sim, then you’ll select ‘sunbathing settings’ (I don’t remember exactly what it said, but it was something like that), and just select ‘no tan’

I can’t wait until someone mods this to an active career (hopefully NoelleBelleFleur can add it to her collection) – there’s not really any reason it can’t be, especially compared to other semi-active/work from home careers. Just snorkel/dive, talk about diving, research diving spots, take/sell diving photos.
I am level 3 diver but I still can’t purchase the mermaid’s love treasure chest 🙁 help
Mermaids treasure chest is a career reward for reaching level 3 of the diver career, not a purchase item

I can’t get passed level 3 in the scuba career. there’s also no promotion tasks. is this a glitch or do I need to do something?

So i want to be able to buy the Scuba dive tank again because i sold it after getting it, but i cant find it anywhere. anyone know where i can get it again?

There is no diving buoy
its in the left neighborhood, and then the house at the top, you’ll see a buoy at the right without coral. that’s the one.
Whitch country can you find te diving buoy
You need to add sun cream to you sim so it can it’s normal Skin tone
