The Sims Team has released a brand new update for The Sims 4 on PC, Mac and Console!
To download the latest version of The Sims 4, simply open your Origin program and if the game doesn’t update automatically, right-click on The Sims 4 and select ”Update.” For console players, your game should update automatically however if it doesn’t simply go into the game options and you will be able to update from there.
For PC and Mac users – In case you have Mods or Custom Content, the game will automatically disable them for you after first launching The Sims 4 after the update. To re-enable all your Mods and Custom Content, select the Settings option in the menu and select Settings. Under the” Other” section you’ll find the ”Enable Custom Content and Mods” option. Check it and restart your game in order for it to take effect!

- Fixed Error Code 109:e56fc6bb:dc1a1b58 preventing some households from loading for Simmers who do not have Get Famous installed.
- Changed one of the patterns of a women’s sweater in Eco Lifestyle (yfTop_EP09SweaterCropPrint_Brand).
- Edited the description of the Footloose Beverage Bodega in all languages.
- Restored the missing texture of wall hanging decoration Roman Temple Architectural Study.
The lastest update messed up a lot of things in my game, I dont appreciate it after all the effort and time I put forth to build such a lovely community. The tiny house nonsense also is really bad. Who ever did this whole update really had no appreciation of the game. Heads should roll.
My game keeps crashing whenever i try to download something from the gallery after the last update, please fix it!!!
Man I swear this patch has changed there AI they all seem sluggish now they all wait like 10 seconds before doing anything some times I have to tell them to do things multiple times and the only dlc I have is city living, vampires, and jobs.
Anyone else having an issue with the trash cans? I can’t sort out recycling or compostables from my home trash bin or the dumpsters.
I’m having an issue since the release of Eco Lifestyle that my kids won’t go to school and adults won’t go to work. The ‘Go to school/work’ button doesn’t do anything and now my sims performance is affected. Help!!

im having same issue. both console and game are up to date but i cant load my household i get an error code with bed in it and i cant make a new family because of same bug 🙁 its all broken..

I think you have to set the ‘reduce and recycle’ lot trait on your lot for it to generate recycling.
Im having problems with the university expansion pack whenever my sim finishes homework she puts the book on the ground everytime instead or a table ect

Yes I have the trash can that gives you money when you put trash in it and for the last week or so it hasn’t been giving money when i put trash in it.

The Sharing is Caring NAP would of been better if the random Sims ask: “Hey, you don’t need this anymore, right?” then you could select a Yes/No option before they “Borrow” your stuff. Or even better just disable the whole NAP option completely.

The gameplay is a mess. Autonomously baking cakes and playing with clay has been turned up to max, I hope they release a patch to turn down the amount of cakes and clay they make.
After the patch, all my roofs have disappeared. Can only see the “wall” part of the roof and the roof trims. And this happened in all my save games. Adding or removing the current roof doesn’t make a difference.
The update made the game totally unplayable. Can’t load a single household, going on 2 days now. Hope they fix it soon.
My game is extremely broken after the last update. I can’t get into create a sim when I start a new game. It freezes and all I can do is exit. Base game worlds have completely disappeared. The bubble for Willow Creek and Oasis Spring are gone. I can’t load any families. When I click play I go in and all my sims aren’t there, just their plumbobs and they don’t load in CAS. none of this happened until the last update. 🙁

It could be because your NAP is sharing is caring or that sims there had the recycle disciple trait I think.

Yes I am! I am playing on ps4 and it lags so bad sometimes to the point where it is unplayable, then My sim keeps reacting to disgust to EVERYONE which cancels her doing the things I asked, it’s so annoying!! Also she will go off do something but it doesn’t come up in the bubble so I can’t stop her or make her come back, I download a load of the packs on sale too, sort of wish I hadn’t, as I spent all that money and now can’t play it properly, I don’t have any issues with any other game so it’s definitely the sims game itself and not my ps4, and I have found lots of issues in forums which back date like 3 years ago! This game needs sorting out badly! Oh and I have no cheats on either. I have re built my ps4, cleared the catche, deleted and re installed the game and none of that helps

My sims were getting on my damn nerves yesterday. I was playing the Pleasant view family (re-made versions) and all they did was bake wedding cake. Bloody wedding cake!!! This was all over the house, mixing bowls and cake ingredients everywhere. They did their usual crap like go to work and wicked whim all over the place lol but whenever it’s time to cook a meal the bloody mixing bowl came out and a wedding cake was made…..annoying!!!! Then I moved Lilith out to go live with Dirk and guess what her first frigging meal was that she cooked?? I’m going to kill her if it continues LOOOL. It’s only her and the rest of the Pleasant family that do this. If this continues I’m going to drown the whole effing family. Point is this didn’t happen before the update but like I said it’s only THIS household. Apart from that everything else works just fine.

That’s a CC issue – they don’t fix bugs around broken CC. Download updated custom eye CC.

yes my game worked for about 2 days after eco came out. after doing everything on this earth i got my game to work after deleting the game i was currently playing. it’s running just fine now. but now i’m so stressed out and tired from it i don’t wanna play

Please get rid of the sharing is caring thing, it’s awful and making me want to uninstall eco friendly. I know I can petition but I just wish it didn’t exist. I hate people constantly stealing all of my stuff.

My sim owns a store not in their neighborhood so the cheat to auto repeal action plans wont work because “its out of neighborhood”

Still peeing fire&smoke
Pets still going “null” on my property
Sims are going to school and work on preset holidays that they usually have off (happened with harvestfest)
Apartment neighbors coming into my house and using my trashcan

Any one have problem with a crap on of clay in there inventory?!? All the time?!
I’ve been wondering about that! After starting the community lot w/ the landfill trait, it seems literally every sim has clay, and about 3 pieces of clay in their inventory. I used Scumbumbo’s autonomy scan through MCCC to disable autonomously playing with clay.
My sim constantly pulls a lump of clay and a future cube out of nowhere no matter how many times I delete then from his inventory. I think he found them at the Goths house but now I’m cursed with them
Has there been any answer for the ‘clay’ issue. I have it, too. No matter how many times I sell them, they reappear & the sim plays with them autonomously. Also, that same sim keeps randomly pulling out this HUGE tablet that I’ve never seen before & scribbling like he’s checking off tasks. AND all my sims seem to randomly be autonomous although autonomy is off. What’s up with this? Any feedback?

this better work seriously not cool being unable to play for the past few days, never had an issue like this before with a new Pack.
nope looks like its still broken. Time stops can’t click on anything but the surrounded animations still moving and just no Sims movement. Ugh its been nearly week.
The same with me when I click on the computer in the house it is making me so mad it just start when the new pack came out

Legit my sims will start doing one thing and stop. Then go do something else. When trying To make them finish the task they refuse to do it. I turned off autonomy for the Sims and the still do it!!!

My adult sims can’t teach toddlers any skills ever since 3 updates ago. They can bring them to the potty, but then they don’t teach them. Still not fixed.

My whole game legit broke. Sims hair and clothes would just randomly disappear, and the sims would glitch out just doing everyday take like using the computer or interacting with other sims. The sims would do that “I can’t go there interaction” when I told them to go sit somewhere that they should quite clearly be able to sit at. I thought it might’ve been mccommand center (it’s the only mod I have in my game) so I tried running it without mcc and it still had all of the bugs. Why did it do this??? Everything ran so well before.
I can’t use my dishwasher or laundry. My sims keep getting stuck.
Same with me the cant use there computer the will be stuck for 10 min then sims game would cut off so I dont have a computer in my sims house hold
