It’s been almost 2 weeks since the release of The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits and we have seen some truly amazing builds popping up all over the place. In the mood for a kids camp? How about blowing some taste buds away with a cooking competition? And if those don’t quite satisfy what you are after perhaps a wellness retreat is in order. What are you waiting for? Adventure Awaits with these 8 community builds that have peaked our interest when it comes to the new Sims 4 Custom Venues lot type, as well as a sneaky bonus build!

Kids Camp By Kate – KateEmerald

One of the main features that has the community building away is the new ability to create getaways, but not just any getaways – kids camps! With The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits all sorts of camps are popping up on the gallery under the custom venues lot type, from kids and teens camps to music and sports camps. Simmers are using personal experiences, taking inspiration from movies and books or letting their imaginations run wild! Wherever Simmers are finding inspiration we can see there are plenty of builds of various shapes and sizes to explore, one of which is a kids camp by KateEmerald!

This kids camp, using the new custom venues lot type, has everything you could want or need for your child Sims who will attend. In true KateEmerald style this build is big, bold and beautiful. The main feature of this build is the pool area with its various points of entry (with various ways to jump in) and framed by the new gorgeous raised decking. There are some arrows and targets for your Sims to hit a bullseye with the new archery skill. Dotted around the lot in various cabins are plenty of spots to sleep, all of which are en suite, so your Sim is sure to have an amazing experience here. Check out the build below.

Wandering Souls Wellness – CokiCreative

Upstairs boasts a separate area for spin classes and when you are done there is a gorgeous bar down the other end of the retreat to quench your thirst.

Parque Acuatico MedusPark – Mdemeryy

With a funny name and a charming look this custom venue is sure to spark the creativity and competitiveness of the contestants taking part in the cooking competitions that will go down on this lot. From colorful cooking stations, a large table at the end of the tent for all your gourmet meals, this will keep your Sims happy, fed and stressing for the win.

There are 4 gorgeous looking tents that line the outside of the lot for our contestants to relax and get some much needed sleep but don’t be fooled, with a shared bathroom to get all your needs in tip top shape before the mad rush of cooking begins we are reminded that at the end of the day this is a competition. Cooking Competition – Simmarysims

SimmarySims may be close to taking the cake with this custom venue cooking competition. With 8 spacious and thoughtful chef stations, a decorative table near the front of the tent to present their excellent dishes and even planter boxes to grow their own produce, this build is practical and great for gameplay. The main building consists of the sleeping quarters, a mini kitchen for the off the clock meals and a cozy social area where you could get to know your fellow contestants. Shared bathrooms also just add to the fun of this being a competition and making sure the best chef wins!

BONUS: Indoor Waterpark – Simproved

This waterpark is not only massive, detailed and out of this world, but no corner has been left untouched! It is elaborate and bold and full of life. This venue even boasts a faux beach with a glorious view of the rockface and waterfall that makes up the centerpiece.
