The Sims Team has recently added a feature list for the upcoming The Sims 4 Vampire Game Pack into a small .package file which gets updated from time to time. The spotlight.package file gets updated every time you open The Sims 4 and it’s used to fetch data for news and announcements you see in The Sims 4 Main Menu.
Here are the features mentioned in the file:
- Create Vampires
- Unleash Supernatural Powers
- Escape to an Eerie Destination
- Live the Immortal Life
Considering that this has been added just recently (yes, I’ve been checking the spotlight file every now and then) it means that we’re really close to the announcement of this Game Pack!

“Escape to an Eerie Destination” Yes! New world confirmed, though I guess it’s going to be a vacation world like in Granite Falls (which is what the leaks suggested). At least I hope we have more than four lots and it’s a proper gothic/dark world.
There is mod that lets you change Destination worlds into homeworlds and vice versa so you could use that in near future 😉

Now I’m getting a bit excited. I can’t wait to see exactly what will be in this pack. I hope it’s not going to be a disappointment.
immortal life? wat? there’s no such thing as immortal. I wish they’re like TS3 where they have age. but oh well, I’ll take it 😀
I think they are trying to make vampires more traditional, in almost every movie I’ve seen vampires don’t age.
I believe when they say immortal is just no aging, which is in almost all vampire stories, movies, TV shows, etc. ‘Tho they’ll probably die from starvation (I hope they need to drink plasma), fire, laughter, anger, sunlight, etc
I think they mean that they are becoming immortal, like asking to be bitten. Mortals are humans, something immortal would be a vampire or a demon or something. Doesn’t necessarily mean they will live forever.
Im so excited! I’ve been living as the same family since the very beginning, so I can’t wait to add vampires to my long line of genealogy.
The wait is killing me I check here every day for updates lol I really hope we get vampires, and maybe more supernaturals! I would really like to have fantasy in the game, there’s too much reality.
