Throughout the last week I got the opportunity to get my hands on the Early Alpha version of The Sims 4 Base Game along with the Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack thanks to the EA Game Changers program!
Although Eco Lifestyle is getting its own seperate collection of videos and articles, I thought it would be important to cover all the content that’s coming to the Base Game for FREE seperately. In the video above you’ll be seeing all the major features coming with the upcoming Base Game Content Update that’s coming our way on June 2nd, 2020 including:
- Build Mode Object Stats Revamp
- Off-The-Grid Improvements
- Ladders
- Free Placement of Windows & Doors
- Bills & Utilities Revamp
- Repomen
- Firefighters
- Inventory 2.0
- Updated World Descriptions
I hope they add burglars and police at a later date too. do you know if this is for console too?

I don’t know if I’m the only one but I play on Ps4 and I have this bug where I can’t change the light intensity every time I click on this room it does nothing
Hey, you can contact the support and maybe they have a solution to fix the issue. You can also try to post your issue on forum, and you will receive a answer from the specialists who created the game
Hi! do you have mcc? Do you have plumbob turn off ? Put back on do your lights and then take away again. That is what i did.
TS4 PS4 is poop in general. building is very hard and so is CAS, it takes so long to load, plus we get no CC
honestly they need to work on sims 4 console more
I have it on ps4 and loading isn’t too bad for me. Building is hard with a controller but I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard… It’s awesome! It feels just like I’m playing on a computer.
Omg I have a big too where it shows game console instructions on screen without me hitting options or clicking

Hey emma. I dont no that one but there lots of bugs on ps4. At min as i have 2 ps4 see the same bugs. More so the gallrey. some time’s i just wannna thow my pad at the tv ahhahaha

I seriously teared up at work, thinking of all of the houses I can create with perfect symmetry, now.
I hope an update comes that’s more sorely needed than all, like the sims 3 where sims can populate the game on their own, it was so cool to see generations grow up when coming back to a game.
Does the ladder come with a bunk bed?
No.
Could we have spiral staircases added we had them in sims 3 and loved them
The Sims team already said there is a high chance we won’t get spiral staircases :/
Really?! I didn’t know that but am sorely disappointed. There’s no reason for them to not have spiral staircases, which have been around since Sims 1.
I mean its not all the way spiral but you can make spiral-ish stairs already, I think they actually look better
Hello! Do we know when cars and other vehicles will be available in Sims 4? I have all up to date packs so have the adult bicycle and the boats. Really miss that from sims 3. Also the prams for babies/toddlers and whether there will be the ability to take more than one dog for a walk?
I think they may be doing that for sims 5. Sims 4 is awesome in its own right. wish the sims team would listen to all us long time players and put some of the old stuff into the game, like Bunk Beds. Pushchairs. Cars. Ect. Sims 2 was my all-time fav. Bring Sims 4 buy build mode and CAS but the Sims 2 Sims in the game. Always loved how they interacted with us
Is Console going to get this update same day as pc? It would make sense considering how the pack is coming out the same day across all platforms.
I’m sure it is as eco living comes out on the same day on across all platforms.
I wish there was a way to interact with real members that are also logged in at the same time.

This update is so nice because ive had sims for about 1 month. I use to love watching videos but never came around to buying it. Anyways i have the cat and dogs pack and things are limited so this extra update might be very cool!!
I’m still waiting on drivable cars, usable baby car seats and strollers, and beach vacations to give the Bon Voyage experience! The Sims 4 has been around long enough for these features to have BEEN added. What’s the problem?
Really want the storybooks back, where you could see memories and marriage statistics etc
Is it just me? I miss the details and features on the original Sims!! That one was my ultimate fave!
Ima PS4 player and I got the get famous pack. The only reason it sucks sooo bad is because half the time there’s a bug that doesn’t let them go to work. I hate it.
It’s June 2 for me right now and I am silently freaking out because I hate waitingggg
