It’s been a long time since The Sims Team has done a limited offer for Expansion Pack Pre-Orders! More specifically there haven’t been any Expansion Pack Pre-Order exclusivities since The Sims 3 Into The Future came out in 2013!
However, The Sims 4 Cottage Living Expansion Pack is the one to break this chain. The Sims announced that if you purchase The Sims 4 Cottage Living Expansion Pack by September 2nd you’ll get the following set of objects called Gnome on the Go for FREE:
- Delight your Lot with Bramblewood’s DeLIGHTful Tree
- Make a Statue Statement with “Onward” The Adventurous Gnome
- Ride Around Town on the Scenic Commuting Bicycle
These purchase exclusives should be valid for EVERYONE making a purchase of The Sims 4 Cottage Living on Origin, Steam, Microsoft and Playstation Store by September 2nd!
Does anyone know if you only get the bonus items if you buy it through EA/Origins, or do you just have to register the game to get it?

I’m not sure myself. I gifted someone an origin code and they didn’t receive the items either.
Did your friend ever receive the bonus items? I got mine gifted and created a chat with Origin and was able to receive the items.
Hubby bought me the game download from somewhere else (not sure where) and I only got the code for the game not the bonus content .. I am gutted, he had a look at the sites t&c and it seems they are able to do that as it wasn;’t mentioned in the description on the site so they don’t need to include any bonus stuff/codes :'( , so now I will have to look for some cc that is similar as I love the look of tree and bike.
Just contact their support via live chat, you may need to have some purchase receipt to show them. I’m hearing that this is a common issue with this bonus content, even when bought directly via origin.

I’m living for these bonuses, but has anyone else noticed that the bicycle levels up fitness skill but not actual “fitness”? xD
My sim has gotten fat riding for hours a day.
