Soto Household

Household Description

Years ago, Dominique and Camille were married in Tartosa. Each year they returned on vacation in hopes of re-experiencing the love – and rich local culture – only Tartosa offers. Once both women retired, they decided to make their yearly trip more permanent.

Dominique is an artist who now spends her days painting landscapes and portraits in the village square and Camille is a writer who has taken an interest in the area’s storied history. Many consider her to be the Porto Luminoso historian and she can often be found enjoying the outdoors alongside Dominique while chatting about local history with anyone willing to listen.

Is Arnessa Thebe lady related to Princess Cordelia? They share the last name and eye color? Is she royalty? Interesting.

I agree, it can’t be a coincidence, right? Love that they included an easter egg like that.

There was a Thebe family in The Sims 2. I believe they were related to the Capp family in Veronaville.

Why every townie is now dark-skined? I don’t mind having dark skin Sims but how come there is so few light skin representation now?

Look back at base game, particularly Willow Creek – a town nominally based on New Orleans which, in our own world, is 60% Black. Willow Creek has two Black residents, and one mixed-race child.

Or, look at the world in general which – surprise – is mostly not Caucasian.

There are still plenty of White folks in The Sims 4. If seeing “so few” bothers you, ask why.
