It’s been revealed that there’s going to be a new Sims 4 Hairstyle during the official Enchanted by Nature Livestream with American singer T-Pain and content creator itsmetroi.
The new masculine / unisex hairstyle, inspired by the American singer and rapper himself, will be making its way to The Sims 4 Base Game for free sometime in November. It’s been confirmed.
The image you see above is the official concept art of the new Hairstyle. And does not reflect the final product that’s coming.
There’s no details as of now if the content will be added through a game patch or a Sims 4 SDX drop.

there is absolutely no favoritism shown towards LOCS or any textured hairstyle in Sims 4 so what you’re even on about rn is literally just you projecting your disdain towards anything that doesn’t suit you. Tons of players, myself included, would love to see more styles that reflect what we wear and see irl. These styles are simply beautiful; they aren’t going to stop just bc you and some other players whine about it.
Always appreciate free new hairs, and we definitely need more textured hairs

I don’t like this hairstyle at all, there are so many Afro-American hairstyles in the game, even in the fairy pack, there is one, it has nothing to do with T Pain, being in France, I don’t know him, and I don’t listen to this style, I think there are still many possibilities of hairstyles other than this kind, we have so many, of course, I could always put it on sims with which I don’t play, but I would have preferred a hairstyle other than that.
God forbid more Afro-textured hairstyles get added to the game. There are so little straight, wavy, and loose curls available in this game. Oh, wait.
I play with some afro hairstyles, but many look too similar, and this should not be to the detriment of others, it is a global game, not only Afro-American, but if they make beautiful ones, long and smooth hairstyles for example, I will use them, we just must not forget the hairstyles of other countries, there are Latino men who have very beautiful hairstyles, the same for the Spanish, Italians etc…
What is African-American hair? Afro textured hair is just that. Then say that we need to see different hairstyles, not that there is too much of one texture which by the way, the hairs categorized as straight and wavy out number textured separately. “Beautiful ones, long and smooth hairstyles for example” straight hair is not synoymous with straight, let’s make that clear. You may use afro-textured hair, but it sounds like you don’t like it. Fine, but to say we have too much because you don’t like it? When summers had to be vocal due to a lack of textured hairstyles and skin tones? No. Cool if you want long, wavy, straight hairstyles that’s fine, but it doesn’t have to be at the detriment of another texture.

So I guess my big question is, why are they announcing this if it’s out in November? Four odd months seems kind of far out/minor to be a single release.

Maybe a bands pack is coming. T-Pain mentioned during the livestream that EA/The Sims asked him to rerecord one of his songs in Simlish, maybe that’s for a new band pack? Or maybe it’s just for a new radio song for DLC that isn’t specific to music. Who knows.
As soon as they did the T Pain announcement I immediately thought bands!!
I would love to have Bands! I didn’t play with bands in TS3 but I loved having my teen sims use the drum sets in TS2. We had soo many instruments back then and I can’t wait to find out if we are getting more in November. I also want musical decor, like guitars we can hang on our walls or prop up.

Was this the surprise they had in store for us? Don’t get me wrong, the hair is nice, I am definitely going to use it, but I wonder why they made this a big deal, and considering the fact that it comes out in November.
Yeah the surprise will be 110th overpriced dlc which has 2 reused animations which you’ll obsessively buy just to beg for something else after 2 weeks later. Please stop buying this bug of a game and let it die decently. Dont throw your hard earned money at that evil company

Almost half a year’s advance warning seems like a lot for one hairstyle.
It’s just a hairstyle; why are some of you all acting so weird about it? As long as it doesn’t crash the game, what’s the issue? Besides, it may be a hint for something more???
Also, if you don’t know who someone is, just look them up.
Compared to all the issues with the game, T-Pain’s involvement isn’t a major problem. New bugs implemented with new updates and EA pushing this game to its buggy limits are the real problems. Let’s keep the focus on that, please.
