Learn Simlish the official way with the new Social Card Game from EA and Goliath!
It’s only been a few months since we first heard about The Sims Board Game, which got released in the US in late July and the rest of the world in the beginning of September. Now, the makers of the official Sims Board Game are back with a new addition to the real life social gaming experience with The Sims Card Game called “YaGoBuGi”.
Lyndsay Pearson, VP of Franchise Creative at The Sims along with Jochanan Golad, CEO at Goliath Games have shared an official introduction about the upcoming Sims Card Game experience.

“Simlish has always been part of the fun and laughter that make The Sims so special,” said Lyndsay Pearson, VP of Franchise Creative at The Sims. “Through YaGoBuGi, we wanted to bring that Simlish charm into a card game that’s easy to pick up, makes people smile and lets Simmers old and new connect over the language we all love.”
The goal of the game is to earn the most Simoleons by speaking and matching “words” in two-, three- or four-card combinations. The bigger the combination, the bigger the reward, with YA-GO-BU-GI being the ultimate scoring phrase.
“With YaGoBuGi, we wanted to capture the essence of The Sims’ playful, social spirit in a way that feels fresh and completely unexpected,” said Jochanan Golad, CEO at Goliath. “This game is about those hilariously awkward, brilliant connections that happen when people come together. It’s fast, silly, and unlike anything else at the table.”

Official Features and Release Info
The Sims Card Game “YaGoBuGi” is expected to launch first in the United States on December 1st, 2025. Even though the official Press Release information states that it’s coming out on December 5th, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it launching first through Amazon as stated in the listing.
There’s currently no information about the worldwide release dates and schedule, but we do have the official information about The Sims Card Game features and contents.
