A new Live Event is coming to The Sims 4 in the form of the ‘Deck the Palms’ Event. This event will take place over three weeks, and players will have from December 16th to January 13th to claim all the new reward items from Jasmine Holiday! Thanks to modder LunarBritney on Mod The Sims, we can unlock all the items early, and without having to complete the event. Let’s take a look at The Sims 4 Deck the Palms rewards!

The ‘Deck the Palms Event Items Unlocked’ Mod by LunarBritney on Mod The Sims allows you to play with all these new items early! You can filter by Event Reward items by going to ‘Filters > Special > Event Rewards’ in both CAS and Build/Buy modes. Check out the mode below

I feel like I’ve been missing the ear-muffs, mittens and toddler slide. And the tiny library looks great!
Cool items! I love the combination of winter and summer items to reflect how both hemispheres experience the end of year. It reminds me of Junkrat’s pool/beach skin in Overwatch. It confused so many players from the northern hemisphere who couldn’t understand why that skin came out in December!
I’m a bit surprised that the toddler slide doesn’t require the Toddler Stuff Pack. Not that I’m complaining! It’s just weird to make that slide base game and not the child slide (just because it’s from a more recent pack?). But maybe the toddler slide was already base game and I had no idea!
The slide appeared back in EP Growing Together. I think it’s referring to BG like makeup tables.
Good thing is that we finally get another playground item for free in the basegame that was previous behind paywall (the toddler slide came with the toddler kit and the Growing Together EP). I am grateful for that.
I am also looking forward for the new kiosk from business and hobbies since those big pillars often ruin the vibe, this tablet version would suit businesses much better. However, I do think this should have been in the game by release as an option but better late than never I guess.
The other items…meh. deck the palms event with winter items is weird imo. Also weird timing for a summer inspired event, a christmas event would have made way more sens…
As always the items look nice but it’s a shame that they are part of a fomo event. I wish they would just give them without the time restrictions.
A table top kiosk is great, why wasn’t that in the pack itself? A new toddler slide and slide for the adventure awaits playground is welcome too.
Overall these look like some great assets for The Sims 4! I do wonder though, if we don’t have the required EPs for some of the items and we unlock them can we use the items if we get the EP later? Would be a shame if not.
According to the official blog post you should be able to claim them first and then actually use them when you buy the EP later. This is what the blog post on the EA website says:
What if I don’t own the Expansion Pack?
A: Players need to own the corresponding pack in order to access the rewards. You can claim the reward to your EA account before you own the pack, no worries! It will unlock for you once you have the Pack.
