The Sims 4 is once again making history!
Remember this part of The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs trailer that shows 2 men getting married? Well, it turns out that this couple will come pre-made in Brindleton Bay with this Expansion Pack. That’s right – this means that you’ll get to play with these Sims (and their pets) once you get your hands on The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs.

This is the first official LGBT couple in The Sims 4 and second in The Sims Franchise. Franchise’s first LGBT couple was introduced in The Sims 3 Roaring Heights World with the Shear Household:

wasnt the first “kind of” couple the ones from Aurora Skies? The Valquist Family. wasnt that official though.

There were two females living together in The Sims 1 as unplayed families (the “Roomies” I believe they were called) however it was your choice to make them lesbian, they weren’t lesbian by default.

You cannot really have lesbian couples in sims 1. And if they count, then Alma Drill x Blaise Kindle counts too.
You can have same-sex couples in The Sims 1. They can get married just like other Sims. The only difference is that kissing passionately won’t bring up the “Should we have a baby?” dialogue prompt no matter how many times you try. You have to wait for the adoption agency to call you on the phone and ask you if you’d like to adopt a child.
I have them as my wallpaper on my laptop :3 I am so glad that they will be in the game! 🙂 Normally lot of sims from trailers aren’t in the game 🙂
The Sims from the trailers are pretty much always uploaded to the gallery by the official Maxis account :p
I’m still going to get Cats & Dogs, but I don’t support homosexuality. It is a sin and a perverted version of original marriage. Marriage is between a man and woman!
I’m getting it too but certainly not for the gay couple – only because of the new world that’s s’posed to come with it and of course the pets. Otherwise, I just won’t get it at all.
Marriage is a piece of paper… love who you love and do what you wanna do. Don’t let some book tell you how to live your life. Think for yourself.
