UPDATE: TheAlexer pointed out the fact that one of these Sims shown below are actually featured on the cover of The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs! This is the first LGBT Sim to be shown on the cover of a Sims game!
The Sims 4 is once again making history!
Remember this part of The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs trailer that shows 2 men getting married? Well, it turns out that this couple will come pre-made in Brindleton Bay with this Expansion Pack. That’s right – this means that you’ll get to play with these Sims (and their pets) once you get your hands on The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs.

This is the first official LGBT couple in The Sims 4 and second in The Sims Franchise. Franchise’s first LGBT couple was introduced in The Sims 3 Roaring Heights World with the Shear Household:

I came here to point that out, yes.
There were two females living together in The Sims 1 as unplayed families (the “Roomies” I believe they were called) however it was your choice to make them lesbian, they weren’t lesbian by default.
I thought the first ones were roomies in sims 1. i have always seen them as a couple

You cannot really have lesbian couples in sims 1. And if they count, then Alma Drill x Blaise Kindle counts too.

You can have same-sex couples in The Sims 1. They can get married just like other Sims. The only difference is that kissing passionately won’t bring up the “Should we have a baby?” dialogue prompt no matter how many times you try. You have to wait for the adoption agency to call you on the phone and ask you if you’d like to adopt a child.
I have them as my wallpaper on my laptop :3 I am so glad that they will be in the game! 🙂 Normally lot of sims from trailers aren’t in the game 🙂

I’m still going to get Cats & Dogs, but I don’t support homosexuality. It is a sin and a perverted version of original marriage. Marriage is between a man and woman!

You can think that but it’s not really a sin. Even if it is, it’s none of your business. You don’t have to like it but It’s their right to choose what they do with their body. If you choose to do so, you yourself are spreading hate, which is not what god wanted for us. James 2:8
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.
