The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Rewards Offers New Gameplay, Recipes, and CAS Items!
Yesterday’s roadmap revealed the next in-game event, ‘Nature’s Calling’. The event will take place over four weeks, giving players the chance to unlock new build-buy objects, CAS items, and even a new recipe. Let’s take a look at everything included!

The Wooden Throne
Cost: §1000
…Because telling your friends “I must take my place upon The Wooden Throne” sounds way cooler than “I’m headed to the outhouse to poop”.

‘The Wooden Throne’ is a new gameplay object unlockable in week 4 of the event. Sims can use this as a toilet in the great outdoors… and also for other (more intimate) activities. Check it out in action!

CAS Items
The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event Rewards include five new CAS items to prepare your Sims for the great outdoors!
Swimsuits
Both the swimsuit and the swimming trunks come in 11 swatches each.
Log Tattoo
The log tattoo can be found under the ‘left upper arm’ category and comes in 6 swatches.
Sandals
The sandals are available for both male and female frames and come in 9 swatches, some of which are pre-dirty.
Fairy Sunglasses
Could this be a hint? After the recent leak revealing The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack, it may well be! These sunglasses come in 11 swatches.
New Recipe – Foraged Feast
Cost:
Single – §13
Family Size – §34
Party Size – §52
The “Foraged Feast” is a brand-new recipe unlocked in week two of the event. It can be cooked on the stove and requires level 2 of the cooking skill. If your Sim has any kind of mushroom in their inventory, then it can be used to cook for free!
Music Station – Nature Soundscapes
The Nature Soundscapes (unlocked in week three) can be played on any existing speaker in the game. The station features 6 new tracks (Ocean Waves featured above) by Elder Bows:

- Night Critters
- Forest Birds
The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event Info
The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event begins on June 24th at 9 a.m. EST and ends on August 5th. As the event runs, you will be given a set of tasks to complete each week, and the items can be unlocked via the event reward window.
Follow the whispers on the wind and unlock new woodworking and nature-themed rewards, including the new Reclaimed Woodworking Table, just for logging in!
Get ready for a free, limited-time Event that begins on June 24, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST and ends on August 5, 2025, where you’ll need to venture into the great outdoors and hone your handiness skill to discover a long-hidden secret of nature.
One fateful day, you hear a faint voice as you step outside. The voice is fleeting and is soon gone, as if carried away by the wind itself. Still, you long to hear it again, and so you journey forth to discover the source of the whispers. Your adventure will be rewarded throughout the Event with new free items such as The Wooden Throne outhouse. This new off-the-grid toilet can be the perfect place for Sims to handle their business out of doors, or even a spot for a little restroom rendezvous!

Looking forward to the new event! However I really do not think we need another woodworking table lol The event sounds fun. The magazines. Seem to give me hints from Sims 3 “China” was Traveling and starlight shores In Sims 3 was “performances” like maybe “Bands” can not wait for the SIMS 4 laundry list!
I can’t believe how exited I got about the outhouse! The thought of woohooing in one grosses me out, though. In my experience, they always have spiders inside.
