CONVERSATION 2

The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Cross-Pack Features

There are a plethora of previous Expansion and Game Packs that allow your Sim to connect with other Occult Sims. See below for a few you can try:

If you have the The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack, the Cottage Living Expansion Pack or the Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack, Fairy Sims can use their Nurture Nature to fulfil animal needs and instantly cure sick cats and dogs.

In addition, there are so many ways for Fairy Sims to connect with their Occult Sim counterparts! With the Werewolves Game Pack, Fairies can soothe Werewolves and bring their fury back to zero and return them to their Sim form, and with the Vampires Game Pack, Fairies can remove vampirism from Vampire Sims to return them to their natural Sim selves. Fairy Sims can also hydrate and top off the needs of their Mermaid Sim and PlantSim friends with the Island Living Expansion Pack!

With The Sims 4 Island Living Expansion Pack, the Werevolves Game Pack and the Vampires Game Pack, Sims can use Apothecary crafting to create an Elixir that refills all needs instantly for Occult Sims.

The Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack introduces the Fear of Magic, making Sims who have had a bad experience with magic feel unsettled by it. If you have the Realm of Magic Game Pack, Sims may even get Paranoid when near Spellcasters or other Occult Sims.

I’m so excited by this! I hope there’s a little more for fairies and how they interact with spellcasters though! def wish we’d gotten even more Irish musicians recording simlish versions of songs but this is very exciting!

This pack is empty and it’s a fully recycled pack, right down to the animations… No thanks

The trailer didn’t do much to help gameplay concerns though. It’s not EP level depth – or breadth – of gameplay. Fairies really are the big and only real sell; sleeping/bathing anywhere and being able to put planters/plants indoors should have been a base game update. They’re minimal improvements (more like unlocks) to existing BG mechanics.

That’s besides the recycled animations. Like the woohoo animation is just ghost woohoo made glittery, and ends with the Eco Living dumpster woohoo animation ending. Couldn’t even make new ones for a frikkin EP?

Sleeping/bathing outside and gardening inside is already in the game. Otherwise I definitely agree with you.

True, but the new pack will provide smaller planters that can be put on surfaces, as well as normal houseplants to take care of, rather than just crops to grow.

Oh? Care to elaborate?

Werewolves allows sleeping on the ground, Island Living and Seasons allow in nature showering. Seasons in the rain, Island Living in waterfalls. The “living off of the land” concept has been various packs as well.

Honestly there is already more gameplay shown even in the trailer, then several EPs have had. Such as High School Years, Lovestruck, and Horse Ranch. The luck system, and balance/ailment system are huge improvements.

Not to mention, for people who want live off the land and do stuff as normal sims, this is a huge bonus.

Otherwise players basically have to use mods or play as a Werewolf to get similar options.

Your distaste of this pack, when you fail to acknowledge the new systems included here, really just shows how forced your dislike of it is.

Not to mention animation splicing is used in every game, not just Sims.

There may be a few holes in this new release. But the bottom line is EA is listening to the players. So many of you wanted fairies and you got them. They’ll tweak things as we go along like they always do. If it’s not your cup of tea, save the money and don’t buy it. I’m not a fairy person, I’m a sewing person and hope they get that going soon, but until they do, I’m anxious to play this new game and build homes with the new features it offers. I know my granddaughter is going to love it!! Thank you EA.

EA wants money at all cost, they’ll happily recycle 98% of the content they already produced, slap a few actual new things then charge $40 for it. They listen to players, yet game breaking bugs aren’t fixed?

TBH a lot of those bugs are caused by mods, and mod artifacts in save files. Not all of them, but a lot of them yes, are caused by the game glitching with mods when an update gets pushed.

And they do realize bug fixes usually at least twice a month to address a lot of the issues that get reported to them.

Actually 99% are base game as a modded Sims player I also play on Xbox/PS5 and I have a family member who plays on Xbox all the bugs/glitches I get even with mods 99% of them also happen on other systems. The family member who plays it plays on Xbox and the “bugs/glitches” they said they fixed or are fixing never actually get fixed it just makes them worse. Now yes a couple bugs/glitches happen here n there that are PC only for having mods but that can be fixed by removing the mods. All the issues they said they fixed are still in the game and are still an issue.
