Marketplace Set Review: The Sims 4 Spindi Dining Room & Free Alternatives

Another new addition to The Sims 4 Marketplace comes from Peacemaker, introducing the Sims 4 Spindi Dining Room Maker Pack. Priced at 400 Moolas, this Buy Mode set aims to deliver a modern and cohesive dining space for your Sims, although, at first glance, it may feel a bit more underwhelming than expected.

The Sims 4 Spindi Dining Room set is built around clean lines, soft color palettes, and functional pieces that fit naturally into everyday gameplay. Designed for Sims who enjoy hosting family dinners or gathering around the table, the collection offers a versatile and contemporary style that works well in both compact homes and more spacious builds.

This Maker Pack adds a total of sixteen new Buy Mode objects, all centered around creating a cohesive and modern dining space. The main focus is functional furniture, supported by a selection of decorative pieces that help bring the room to life. The set blends clean wooden finishes with soft textiles and minimalistic decor, making it easy to integrate into a variety of interiors.

In total, the pack includes two dining chairs (one upholstered and one wooden), one dining table, one rug, three ceiling lights, one wall painting, one sideboard, one shelving unit, one plant, one flower arrangement, one fruit bowl, one set of plates, one stack of books, and a set of condiment bottles. Together, these items provide everything needed to build a fully styled dining area, balancing functionality with subtle decorative detail.

Our Review of The Sims 4 Spindi Dining Room Maker Pack

Ultimately, this is where that initial underwhelming feeling really comes into play. While this is one of the more affordable Maker Packs we’ve seen so far at 400 Moolas, it also ends up being the least convincing in terms of overall value. Despite offering a similar number of items, many of them feel smaller in scope, simpler in execution, or even slightly repetitive—like the ceiling lights, which are essentially variations of the same design split into different sizes.

There’s also a noticeable repetition in some of the ideas behind the clutter. Items like fruit bowls or plate stacks feel very familiar, echoing concepts we’ve already seen multiple times. This lack of novelty stands out even more when compared to other creator packs that attempt to push these decorative elements a bit further or introduce more distinctive details.

This ends up impacting the perceived depth of the set, making it feel less substantial compared to others within the Marketplace. And while Peacemaker is a creator whose work we genuinely appreciate, placing this kind of content within a paid, curated ecosystem inevitably invites a more critical lens. In this context, the pack struggles to meet the baseline expectations needed for it to feel truly worth the investment.

For that reason, and considering how difficult it already is to justify purchases within this new Marketplace model, this is not a set we would currently recommend.

So, what do you think about the Sims 4 Spindi Dining Room Maker Pack—does it feel worth its price to you? And if you want to explore more reviews and breakdowns, make sure to check out our other The Sims 4 Marketplace articles on the site.
