The Sims 4 – Custom Skin Tones are coming!
The Sims Resource posted a picture saying that they are currently working on Skin Tones for Sims in The Sims 4! When will we get them? Shortly after the game releases, TSR reports.
Custom skintones in Sims 4? Yes they are already in the works by our great artists. Here is a preview from Nightcrawler Sims showing off a very detailed male skin tone. This and many more will be available for download at TSR shortly after the game is out!

We don’t plan to post every single song from the game, but I think you’ll be just satisfied with 3 Pop Songs that were used in older The Sims 4 Trailers. I recommend that you listen to Obrayzow first, and you’ll know why the minute you start playing it! 😀

The Sims UK Facebook page just announced a new social media Sitcom called ”Gone With the Sims” featuring some of the characters and personalities from The Sims 4.

MCV UK: Life in boxes – The Sims 4 at Retail!
It might seem strange that a particular series – especially one now half a decade old – rules the roost to quite the degree that The Sims does, but EA is hoping to replicate the same success with the newest entry,The Sims 4, when it lands on shelves in a matter of weeks.
PC games have moved primarily to a digitally-delivered model. Yet EA believes The Sims’ younger and broader audience has kept the brand successful on the High Street.
“Physical products are still very important to our consumers and are to us too – a majority of The Sims consumers still purchase physical items due to their age,” explains Jacqui Ashworth, senior product manager for The Sims.
“Our core fans still like to own physical products, and The Sims is great for gifting, which makes grocery a good channel of distribution. Also, the current average age of the standard The Sims 3 player means they don’t have access to credit cards or online accounts so a physical purchase is preferred.
“We’ve always worked hard to maintain our presence at retail and we do not see this changing anytime in the near future.”
And – strange as it might seem – Ashworth believes that owning a boxed copy of a The Sims title
is actually a highly desirable pursuit for some fans.“Our players like to own physical content – especially our core fans,” Ashworth says. “They see their boxes as badges of honour in the Sims community and often will share pictures of the games they own across our community channels.”

The Sims 4 – Premade Origin Avatars
Origin released a dozen of Premade The Sims 4 Avatars that you can choose for your Origin Profile. To pick one, click on your Profile Picture, select Edit My Profile, click on your Avatar from there and select Avatar Gallery > The Sims 4.
Some of these Avatars seem to be cropped from never-before seen The Sims 4 Screens!

The SIms 4 Blog: The Familiar Faces of Willow Creek
Last month we told you a little bit about the families of Oasis Springs, and now let’s take a look at the families of Willow Creek.
Back in May, we had our first look at the Goths, one of the most well-known couples residing in Willow Creek. Since learning that Mortimer and Bella have returned, many of you have been curious about the fate of their children, Cassandra and Alexander. We all know that our teenage years can be an awkward time, but Cassandra, is a stunner and has obviously followed in her Mother’s genetic footsteps! Let’s not forget about little Alexander; will the youngest child in the family have time to overcome his eerie heritage and live a normal life or will he be another macabre member of the family?
Despite the Goth Family’s fame, the couple with the most buzz has been Bob and Eliza Pancakes. A new couple to The Sims, it looks like they may be the most miserable couple in all of Willow Creek! As you get to know the Pancakes you will have a chance to explore just what’s keeping these two together? Eliza will have plenty of chances to drift away, whether she stays in Willow Creek or wanders over to Oasis Springs. Who knows, Bob might just be happier left alone with his pancake griddle.
Let’s not forget Willow Creek’s love triangle. Free spirit Liberty Lee, cheerful Summer Holiday, and geeky Travis Scott make a pretty unlikely group of friends. At first, it seems like nothing can come between the bond that these three share. Will anyone be happy when this love triangle finally resolves itself?
Now on to one of our favorite and most complicated families, the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household. Keep in mind that with the new emotions that Sims exhibit in The Sims 4, relationships are more complex to manage – and the larger the family, the more challenge there is to be had. Here’s the breakdown: Dennis Kim and Lydia Spencer had a daughter named Alice Spencer-Kim, then they divorced. Their daughter Alice married Eric Lewis and they had their own little girl named Olivia Spencer-Kim-Lewis. Alice, Eric and little Olivia recently moved back in with their parents; Alice’s dad and Eric’s mom. Oh and Vivian Lewis came along too. How can Alice and Eric afford all the new additions to their household? They will definitely have to find the right career! Can they turn around some quick cash before their savings run out or will they find themselves stumbling around once their power gets cut? Hey, no one ever said having a family was easy and with this many mouths to feed, this family definitely isn’t!
