A huge update for The Sims 4 Base Game is upon us and now we finally know the date!
SimGuruJill confirmed on Twitter that the upcoming patch for The Sims 4 is set to release on June 2nd – 3 days before the release of The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack.

Sucks that it took competition for them to step up but I’m kinda glad they’re starting to get it.

Lets hope that those kinds of updates (babies, toddlers, prosthetic arms, schools) don’t come in a separate game pack…That might make them lose to any competition.
I hope there’s a pack that has wheelchairs and prosthetics and disabilities so it shows that sims aren’t all perfect.

Does that mean there might be a potential trait overhaul update in the future? I feel like the personalities have been shallow and most sims act the same depending on what their mood is.
Me too, after a while I keep on making the same types of sims because there’s a limited selection.
Sims 3 blew me away with the object customization tool. Until Sims 4 gets the same tool, the game remains sadly lacking.
I hope They add Mascaras and hair, clothes, high heel shoes/Boots, tights, chokers, Gloves, sheer outfit, makeup, and better cribs, bed, Windows curtains, and toddlers hair, clothes etc, eyes color
And change the height
They already added height for sims in CAS also they have window curtains I’m sure
There is no height customization without mods and the window curtains are kinda trash
They also have eye color and boots and tights and gloves and hair and clothes and beds and toddler’s hair… So your kind of missing out.
They are asking for *better* stuff, the stuff we have rn is kinda trash
So true, its been 5 (almost 6) years better stuff is indeed wanted
They have better stuff available it’s just available in the stuff packs
I wish they could add actual like controllable cars and real streets.
Is this update going to be available for the Sims 4 legacy edition if not in my opinion that’s kinda unfair to all of us that have it because we do deserve it since we can’t get the new expansion packs (no offense to any of you)

Since they aren’t releasing packs for LE, I don’t expect them to update it… A quick google found me this from the EA FAQ on Legacy Edition:
“Will The Sims 4 Legacy Edition receive any additional content or bug fixes in the future?
No, The Sims 4 Legacy Edition will not receive any more content or bug fixes.”
So that would be no :/ The update won’t be for LE.

Why,I find it unfair that only people who have the Sims 4 (non legacy edition) get this as we should’ve had this from the start!

One thing I would absolutely LOVE for Sims 4, are school buses for the child sims when they go to school. Even if the buses go into a wormhole, it would add some much needed realism to the game. Any way this could be implemented into an update or something?

I think they could have even added a career in which you and your sim have to build houses and get paid for it, you would probably have to follow what the customer wants – but this would give the game a whole new turn, just my personal opinion.

Ok…. But when are you going to fix the issue with Sims constantly losing all their relationships or the acting career bug that you can’t do anything between the audition and shoot or else the shoot doesn’t happen?

I’m sick and tired that people with ts4 IS won’t get a update for this it’s not our fault that we can’t afford a new computer or laptop

It sure would be nice to be able to PLAY THESE UPDATES. But no. They f’ed shit up for Mac players and I haven’t been able to play in days!
This new update destroyed my game so now I’m just hoping there will be another one soon and I can play again.
