The Sims Twitter just announced that they’re gonna host a Live Gameplay of The Sims 4 Today at 12 PDT (or 9 PM CET).

Yesterday’s MTV Video Music Awards got a small support from Electronic Arts’ The Sims 4! Apparently, they got their logo up on MTV’s official Tumblr and their ”giffie awards” gifs. Although it’s not sure how else were they involved with their sponsorship, it would be nice to see some more public promo for The Sims 4 that’s launching in just one week!
We’re less than 9 days away from The Sims 4’s release so I think it’s worth mentioning once again in which Editions will the game be released!
The Sims 4 Standard Edition comes just with the game – no bonus or exclusive content, although The Sims 4 Rewards for having The Sims 3 Games feature is still applied.
This version of the game is not available yet, but it will be available once The Sims 4 comes out (the day Limited Edition expires).
The Sims 4 Limited Edition comes with the game and Life of the Party Digital Content which features the Flaming Tiki Bar and sleek, stylized outfits for your Sims.
You can purchase this version of The Sims 4 on Origin, Amazon and much more online and retail stores!
Please note that the Limited Edition of The Sims 4 will be available until the game comes out.

One of the first, and coolest things we got to do during our recent trip out to Cologne for gamescom was to get to go hands-on with a near-finished build of the Sims 4. But while Sarah got to work making a digital version of her and I, giving them a personality of their own before playing God over their lives, I took a slightly different approach, and delved into the pre-built scenario saves instead. Intended to show off the various weird and wacky situations your Sims could find themselves in, one starred two warring scientists, one was a star crossed relationship that would never work out – and the other, was set in a bar. Here, a young male Sim who we’ll call Joe Noluck, possessor of a spectacular bachelor pad (more of a mansion if we’re honest) and a winning quiff, has his heart set on Hildegard Tuget, a fiery ginger with a temper to boot. We’re not making this up either, she really does have a fiery temper – it’s one of her traits.
Sat next to each other having a casual chat, things were going swimmingly enough. That’s when we stepped in, taking over young Joe Noluck, to help him win the affections of his soul mate. Since we’re getting closer and closer every second, EA Help decided to publish a post with exact date & time of when will The Sims 4 release.

Just to get this out of the way, I am in no way a master at this stuff. To be honest, I actually just begun learning about meshing so I thought i’d share what I’ve learnt with you all.
What this tutorial will teach you:
- How to create default replacement meshes (i.e. editing the the original to create a new default replacement)
- How to grab a mesh from the game and into milkshape
- How to get the game to recognize the edited mesh
What this tutorial will not teach you:
- How to do recolours/texturing
- How to mesh in-depth
- How to create non-default meshes -this means you cannot create your own mesh. You can only edit an extracted mesh.
This tutorial assumes you know the basics of meshing and are familiar with Milkshape.
You cannot add or remove vertices at the moment so all we can pretty much do is shift them around.

I’m here to warn you about several things I read about The Sims 4 on the internet these last couple of days. Before I begin with this post, please note that I’m not picking any sides of this story, I’m just here to warn you about spreading false and unconfirmed facts about the game.
I came across this list of The Sims 4’s ”missing features”. Actually, I stumbled upon this list several times.
I’m here to tell you that the ”89 features missing from The Sims 4” post is bogus and contains some features/objects that were added in 13 years of developing The Sims Franchise (2000 – 2013/The Sims 1 2000 – 2003/The Sims 2 2004 – 2008/The Sims 3 2009 – 2013). Although the list doesn’t contain content from Additions of The Sims Games, it still contains lots of content from features that were added during the releasement of The Sims 3 Patches/Updates. There is absolutely no way to add features from 13 years of work on Sims Games to a Sims game that was worked on approx. 3 – 4 years.
Things such as ”no animated hair” and ”no dreams” didn’t even exist in previous Sims base games, so I’m not sure why was that added to the list. Most features on that list were even removed in The Sims 3 and got an improvement.
This list spread like a wildfire all over the internet and it made a lot of people lose interest in the game.
The point of this post is to not trust everything you see or read online, since many people will do lots and lots of things just to get attention. Trust yourself and what you think about the game and choose carefully from who do you want to receive future information and updates.
