Thanks TheSimSupply for the find!
Hey Simmers!
Over the last few weeks you may have noticed that we’ve posted a few spoiler pictures from the all new brand new builder-centric venue, The Now & Then Century Manor. Well today I’m here to give you the full scoop on this cool new release that was inspired by the Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff Pack!

We had so much fun creating this month’s release that we decided to come out and surprise you with TWO venues. Many of the items will be shown brand new, the way they would have looked back in their heyday and then in then a hundred years later as the weathers of time take their toll.

Let’s start with the Mansard Roof kit. There are 7 awesome pieces for you to play around with to create the perfect roof. It’s characterized by steep sides and a double pitch, becoming popular in an architectural movement commonly known as ‘Second Empire Style.’

There’s an amazing array of new windows and doors for you to add to your masterpiece. You can choose from recolorable stainglass windows to colonial windows and even boarded up versions!

Inside, the Now & Then Century Manor is filled with vintage treasures. If these ever came up in an estate sale, they’ll be the first to go!

Can you guys spot the origin of Emmie the monster in these faded pieces of artwork? Extra brownie points if you can name which venue she comes from. Clue – she prefers venues that are a little grim.
Chandeliers are also a sign of old-age decadence. They represent the grandiose environment that was once thriving with parties and lavish nights. Once the beacon of wealth, it remains a glorious centerpiece to this day.

Now, a finishing touch for all of the builders creating an old manor: spider webs. It’s not really vintage until there are spider webs tucked in the shadows!

As you can see, an exciting number of possibilities just opened up. So get ready for this Thursday, May 1st 10 AM PST, and start dreaming up your creations.
An updated image of The Sims 4 render we saw back in March has surfaced on The Sims Twitter page. The image is now in better quality, updated facial expressions and different outfits!
The Sims 3 Store released Milkin’ It Dairy Coral, Grandpa’s Grove Tractor and Door of Life And Death for individual purchase. Each Premium Content costs 500 SimPoints!
*UPDATE* – It’s Business Time Industrial Oven is available for individual purchase for 600 SimPoints! Thanks SimsOnlineFan for the tip!
Do you want to start your own business and make gobs of Simoleons? How about spending a night out of the town where you have a chef waiting to make your favorite meal? If these things sound appealing, then you should get the It’s Business Time Industrial Oven, hire a chef, and start living like a boss!
Tired of watering, fertilizing and harvesting all of your plants and trees by hand? Lay down a dirt road near your crops and put the tractor to work! Then, after a hard day of farming, why don’t you give the kiddos a fun hay ride!
The Milkin’ It Dairy Corral lets you milk cows until the cows come home..err..never mind. These aren’t just normal cows though – they can give you several different flavors of milk, and if you’re lucky, milkshakes! Be careful though, these cows are smart and competitive. They have no mercy when playing an intense game of Tic-Tac-Hoof, and they don’t like to be tipped over!
When most Sims hear that the Reaper is coming they want to run away, but the Door of Life and Death lets your Sim go right up and knock on his door. And you might just find that he’s not that bad after all! Want to bring a lost loved one back? Just knock at the Reaper’s door to have them reincarnated! Have a loner that wants to try parenting all on their own? Have old Grimmy Simulate a Genetic Merger with the Sim of your choosing! You can even challenge the Reaper to a high stakes guitar duel!
There’s a new Origin Update that includes various bug fixes!
To get the new update, just open your Origin Client and select ”install now”.

SimGuruRachel confirmed on Twitter that The Sims 4 will attend Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this June. How exciting is that?! 😀
Benoit Berthe, 3D Artist, wrote on his LinkedIn profile that he’s currently working on The Sims 4 Trailer in a 3D animations studio called Nexus.
This means that the previous studio who created The Sims 4 Arrival Trailer, DraftFCB, was replaced with the Nexus studio.

As Simlish continues to grow and expand with each new entry in the series, so does the size of the group of folks working behind-the-scenes to make it an increasingly fun aspect of each game. Starting with only three voice actors in the earlier games, The Simsvoice team has now tripled to nine different actors. A bigger team makes it possible to have a much greater range of choice in how your Sim characters sound when they speak.
This ongoing expansion extends to The Sims 4, which will feature the broadest range of Simlish yet. “We’ve expanded the lexicon, created specific ‘slang’ for different Sim age groups, and placed more focus on object-specific terminology,” said Cameron. “We’ve focused harder than ever before on making each Sim sound unique, and it’s really paying off. The cohesion and attention to detail has really helped Simlish to feel even more like a real language.”
Jessica DiCicco made an interesting tweet on Twitter, confirming that she’s working on The Sims 4!
She also made a Vine, showing what a Child’s voice could possibly sound like in TS4!
