Hey everyone, it’s Zerbu! Today I bring you six new traits for The Sims 4.
You can download the traits here: http://zerbu.tumblr.com/post/114431991332/the-sims-4-six-new-traits
Boring

These Sims barely need any Fun, but they build relationships very slowly and can never be Playful.
Collector

These Sims love to explore the world and collect stuff, which sways them into all sorts of emotions.
(Whenever a Collector picks up a collectible, they will receive a random Moodlet, each with its own effects as well as increasing an emotion)
Crazy Party Sim

These Sims are Playful by default and build relationships faster, but their Fun needs decay at double the speed and they tend to get headaches when forced to be Focused.
(When a Crazy Party Sim is “Focused”, they have a chance of getting the “Headache” Moodlet which may switch them to “Uncomfortable”; whether they switch or not, their Mental skills will increase slower when they have this Moodlet)
Fast

These Sims are able to craft objects at twice the speed, but can never be Focused and tire faster.
Inconsistent

These Sims tend to become very serious or very playful at unpredictable moments.
(Inconsistent Sims randomly get one of two random Moodlets at times, one which makes them playful and the other which makes them serious)
Swimmer

Not only do these Sims gain the “Relaxing Swim” Moodlet quicker, but it is stronger and Sims’ Fun needs will decay slower while they have it. The “Splashy Fun” Moodlet is also stronger.

We brought this modern living set we created a few months ago originally for Sims3. It has 12 pieces, mostly with 3 colors variations.
To place loveseat and sofa nearby as shown in pictures, you should use bb.moveobjects cheat. However, both sofa and loveseat work properly as they should.
Hope you all enjoy ^^ by SIMcredibledesigns.com

During The Sims 4 Get to Work Preview Event in Poland, DOTSim found out that upcoming Game Pack and Stuff Pack releasements are going to be Digital only (just like The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat is), which means that you’ll only be able to make a Game/Stuff Pack purchase via Origin or another Online Store (such as Amazon).
Here’s a full statement by DOTSim:
At the GTW Event at EA Poland, we had a quick presentation about The Sims 4 and future expansions. Head of polish Sims team told us, that Game Packs and Stuff Packs are going to be available only via Origin, but they are working to put some of the titles into boxes. She also told us that EA wants to improve Origin payment options, so that it will be available for more fans (Not only paying by PaySafeCard or another card)
How romantic!

Here’s a conversion of the Sims 3 chopper motorcycle ‘The Beast’, from the Ambitions expansion pack. I originally intended to just make it as deco, but decided it would be nice if it could be some sort of functional item. So I cloned it as a bar stool and re-rigged the foot positions to fit the motorbike. If we ever get vehicles, I’ll try to make it driveable, but for now we can at least use it as an item for storytelling.

It’s time to introduce our brand new section on our site called Under The Spotlight. Here to kick-off is a long-time Simmer and YouTuber – Cristina!

Hello Hello! I’m Cristina otherwise known as Lifesimmer. I’m your average internet addict but with a little twist. I spend my free time indulging on Youtube goodness. I make Let’s Plays and other gaming goods on my channel.
– How long have you been a Simmer?
Oh boy, let’s talk about my avid addiction. I’ve been playing The Sims for about ten years. How, my love for a simulation game began. Well, I was at my cousin’s house one day. She pulled me over to her ancient PC and showed the most glorious game. Well, at the time. The Sims Hot Date. I was so fascinated by the virtual doll house aspect of the game. It was love, at first sight. I actually loved the game right away. I would spend countless hours watching trailers completely and utterly in love. I did chores upon chores to receive my FIRST very own copy, The Sims Deluxe.
– What’s your favorite The Sims game?
This may be the hardest Sims related question I’ve had to answer. It’s so hard to choose an all time favorite. I’ll select one for each era.
The Sims: Superstar
The Sims 2: Open For Bussiness
The Sims 3: Seasons
– If you were a Sims Developer, which feature would you add in The Sims 4 and why?
There is so much to add to the game. However, The first thing that comes to mind is collections. Not, rocks and insects but little knick-nacks, DVDs, video games, etc. Possibly even, thrift stores that your sims could visit and find some hidden gems. It could easily intertwine into a Freetime-esque expansion/game pack. It’s the little things, minimal details that can enhance gameplay.
– Do you play other games beside The Sims?
Certainly, there is a couple of game series that I enjoy equally. The series other than The Sims are Nancy Drew and Kingdom Hearts.
I’ve always collected these three series and plan on purchasing each installment. However, I have acquired a massive steam collection of random PC games. I scare myself sometimes with the game I own on Steam. Tokyo School Life, shout out to you. I love gaming, in general; I’ll try anything because you never know!
Cristina’s Screenshots from The Sims 3 and The Sims 4.
– How was the LifeSimmer Channel born?
Once upon a time, there was a girl who had way too much free time. She spent a lot of her time exploring Youtube and ways to film her screen. It looks her about nine months before learning how to capture her gameplay. She finally filmed the worst possible quality video ever, but she did it! She uploaded the video to Youtube for her personal enjoyment, but shockingly people watched. She called the series, Generations.
– What made you push forward and be persistent in uploading new videos?
Enjoyment, that’s it. Yes, Folks I really do enjoy talking to myself.
Cristina’s The Sims 4 Let’s Play. Her first part reached astonishing 2,4 million views to this date (22/02/15)
Cristina’s Desk Setup. (Check out her Full Video)
– Has your Channel helped you in real life?
Definitely! I’ve learned social skills that a champ, which was extremely hard for me. Don’t get my wrong, I still have my fair share of social awkwardness; trust me. However, I feel more capable of putting myself out there and meeting others. I’ve learned SO much tech information.
I could easily tell you what components you need to enhance your computer or what microphone would do you justice. Lately, I’ve been working in Photoshop trying to learn new tricks. It’s a lot of fun; maybe I’ll learn how to transform myself into Angelina Jolie.
– What advice do you have for aspiring YouTubers?
As I always say, have fun with it.
Well, that’s it Folks! That’s all the nonsense information you get today.
You could always check my channel out for more, me? I don’t know where I was going with that. I hope you all have a Simtastic day.
Adios

Sims fans never cease to amaze us with their creativity. From the amazing stuff in The Gallery to the mods and Custom Content, we’re constantly amazed by what people do with The Sims 4. This week, we talked to clever Custom Content creator, Cinderellimouse, who recently made waves with some shockingly quick work on a famous dress.
How long have you been a fan ofThe Sims?
Since the very beginning! My best friend and I loved to tell stories about this cast of characters we had invented, and The Sims was the perfect game for us to make those characters come alive! We were so excited to get the base game, I can still remember staring at that box art and working out who each Sim would be. I absolutely love the brand! What appeals strongly to me is that it allows people a lot of freedom to be creative and do different things: there are builders, people who enjoy making Sims in CAS, storytellers, modders, and custom content artists. I see the game as a tool for people to use their imagination and get creative! It’s interesting seeing how other people play, because Simmers really make their game their own.
What do you like most about The Sims 4?
The Sims. That sounds really silly, but as someone who has played so many versions of the game on PC and console I find the TS4 Sims so real. They are so expressive and funny to watch, the animations are brilliant! I find myself taking so many screenshots of their faces. I’ve been making the same set of Sims since the very first game, so their personalities are quite fixed in my mind. The TS4 version of my Sims really seem to have those personalities, the way each Sim acts suits them so much! My tough soon-to-be cop moves and acts much differently to her flirty, artistic sister.
I’m a big fan of the emotion system, too. I love how you can just look at a Sim walking down the street and tell what kind of mood they are in! And how a Sim might be doing the slouchy walk, but you can look at their face to see if they are tired-happy, or tired-sad. Sad dancing is so adorable! <3
A few weeks ago, the internet blew up about #thedress and, and you quickly made it as Custom Content in The Sims 4. Why did you decide to make it?
It was a bit of a joke really. I’d had a bad day, and I was annoyed at the dress for confusing my poor tired brain! I thought, “I’m not going to let a dress dictate colours to me!” and I took control of the situation by creating the dress for the game in a variety of colours. If I say the dress is red, then the dress is red! Hee hee!
How was the reaction to your #thedress?
It was hilarious! My notifications on Twitter blew up with people crying “Nooooooo!!! Why would you do this to me!?” People really feel passionately about that dress! XD
Unrelated, but… which color did you see?
Red. 😛
It was weird, I was looking at the images of the real dress while I was creating the Sim version and the dress kept changing colour! I think the colours you see depend on what you have been looking at beforehand.
Do you have any tips for people interested in getting into making their own custom content in The Sims 4?
Yes! Grab one of the free third-party programs that are available like Sims4Studio or TSR Workshop and check out one of the many tutorials that are available. Mod the Sims is a great place to find tutorials on creating Custom Content. Keep an eye on my blog site, Sims in the Woods, because I’m planning on writing a series of tutorials there soon and will be happy to answer any questions! You can also poke me on Twitter if you need any help @Cinderellimouse.
I’d say when creating any kind of custom content that there is a learning curve, and the more you do it, the better you get. I used to make clothing for TS2 but I’m a bit rusty now and could do with a bit more practice. Try not to expect too much of yourself at first, we all have to start somewhere and we all have epic fails! I recently managed to put an image on the BACK of a t-shirt! I was confused as to why the image hadn’t shown up in game, until I spun the Sim around in CAS and saw the mistake! XD
But being able to take control of the game and make your own content or mods is incredibly satisfying! I’d recommend everyone give it a go. ^.^
