The Sims 4 – Create A Style options are being ”looked into”
In an Ask a SimGuru forum thread on The Sims Official Forums, SimGuruHolms answered various types of questions, including one asking will we ever get more options to change colors or patterns in The Sims 4.
Note: just because this feature is being looked into doesn’t mean we’ll actually get this feature. Time will only tell…
chealsycat:As for the color wheel I’d like to say that no matter how many variants of things we have, there’ll always be something we want to have in absolutely different color. And as it was said by someone before, I may want to change the colors of a pillow and a blanket separately.
I don’t speak about CAP – I know there were some problems with it. I just want to change the patterns we have in game with the color wheel. And until someone proves that it is absolutely impossible, I won’t stop moaning and groaningSimGuruHolms: We are looking into various CAST options right now and know you guys want them.

Here are 3 Sims games/combos we recommend for you to play during Halloween:
3. The Sims Makin’ Magic
It’s been 11 years since The Sims Makin’ Magic hit the shelves and this The Sims 1 addition is still one of the best Halloween games to play! It comes with a Magic Town where you can learn new spells and become the most powerful wizard! It’s also full of Spooky features such as Bonehilda (skeleton maid), spooky rollercoasters, dragons, mummies and so much more!
Although this game is not available for purchase in retail stores or on Origin, you can still find it on Amazon and on eBay! (requires The Sims 1 Base Game)
2. The Sims 3 Supernatural & Seasons:
This combination matches perfectly for you to throw an ultimate Halloween event in The Sims 3! With 4 new types of creatures from Supernatural Expansion Pack and 4 new Seasons and Party Types from Seasons Expansion Pack, you can create the most awesome Costume Party with real life Werewolves, Zombies, Fairies and Vampires! Other Sims will be impressed with your Sim’s ”Costume” but don’t tell them anything about who you really are.
Your Child and Teen Sims can go trick or treating around the town and get lots of candy and toys if they plan their Costume nicely.
By installing these 2 Expansion Packs, The Weather Stone will pop out in your Town the moment you start your game. If you have a Supernatural in your Household, send it over to the Weather stone and you can summon 4 different types of Weather:
- Eclipsing Fog (Vampires – allows them to drink other Sims’ blood more easily)
- Reviving Sprinkle (Fairies – all plants in your World will be magically watered and fertilized)
- The Hunter’s Storm (Werewolves – lets Werewolves find more rare collectibles under the deep snow)
- Bewitching Rain (Witches – makes other Sims act crazy and makes them dance uncontrollably)
The Sims 3 Supernatural and The Sims 3 Seasons are both available on Origin!
1. The Sims 4
The Sims 4’s latest Update lets your Sim experience the life of a Ghost, allowing you to prank other Sims in an unique way, haunt different objects and cause different types of chaos!
Ghost Scare interaction lets you scare other Sims. Some Sims will take it seriously while others will just have a good laugh.
As a Ghost, you can also Pass Through other Sims!
Let’s not forget that almost every object allows your Ghost Sim to possess it. More Sims possessing more Objects creates a spookier scene! Don’t do it in front of other Sims unless you want to spook them out.
There’s so much more to explore as a Ghost in The Sims 4! The cause of their death will unlock unique interactions. Also, each Emotion affect Ghosts as well, making them change their Color depending on it.
The Sims 4 is available on Origin for purchase!
The Sims 4: November Update ”Coming Soon”
Update #2: SimGuruSarah confirmed that the Pool Update won’t be releasing this Saturday and Sunday (01/11 – 02/11).
We haven’t announced the exact date for Pools yet, but I will confirm it won’t be released on a Saturday or Sunday.
Update: Some of the SimGurus changed their Twitter Profile Pictures to the iconic ”Gnome Hero” yet again. The last time they updated their Profile Picture to this was 1 day before Ghosts update released on 1st of October.
The Sims Polska posted a photo on Facebook with a caption saying (roughly translated):
