Their fireside chat is “Playing With Life: A Conversation With Lucy Bradshaw and Rachel Franklin.”

Bradshaw oversees the development of all games that Maxis makes, including The Sims and SimCity. She leads the charge to expand the reach of EA’s games by exploring new experiences for players around the world. She joined Maxis in 1997 and has managed the development of popular games including SimCity, Spore, The Sims 2, SimCity 4, SimCity 3000, and The Sims. She is overseeing the development of The Sims 4, which debuts in early September. Prior to joining EA, she worked on games such as Rebel Assault and The Dig at LucasArts.

Franklin is the executive producer on The Sims 4 at EA, and she has more than 20 years of experience in games. She started as an associate producer at Activision on the rerelease of Zork, and she was also worked on titles like Atari 2600: Action Pack and Muppet Treasure Island. She worked at startups doing work for Lego, Pioneer, Bayer, Mattel, and MSN. She also worked in senior product manager roles for OnLive and then joined EA, where she runs The Sims Studio.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions on Facebook, Twitter and even Origin on how to get The Sims 4 Create a Sim Demo. I decided to make this post in order to increase your chances of getting this Demo.

Please Note:

• We do not guarantee that you will get the Demo after following Tips below.
• CAS Demos are being sent out via E-Mail (notification) and Origin on a daily basis.
• Do not bother SimGurus or anyone else working on The Sims 4. They do not have the power to give you the code.
• Patience is a virtue. Sooner or later everyone will get this Demo.

Tip #1

Open your Origin Account. Click on Origin on the top left and select ”Account and Privacy”.

Select ”Privacy Settings” on the tabs on left and scroll down until you see ”Contact Preferences”. Then, check ”The Sims” box.

After you’re done, select ”Update” and restart your Origin.

Tip #2

Go to TheSims.com. Find the ”Newsletter Signup” box and enter your details. Make sure your e-mail matches with your Origin e-mail!

Tip #3

Make sure you register all The Sims 3 games you own in order to prove that you’re a Simmer.

If you didn’t, go to TheSims3.com > Register a Game. You can also register The Sims 3 Games on Origin by clicking Origin on the top left and selecting ”Redeem Product Code”
