Making beautiful screenshots in The Sims 4 is a bit difficult when your Sim’s plumbob and other Sims’ thought and speech bubbles keep popping everywhere.
This can be easily solved without editing the game files. Since the new patch that released on 1st of October, not only that your Thought and Speech Bubbles go away with a certain cheat, but now your Sim’s Plumbob disappears as well!
To make all those things go away above your Sims’ head, press CTRL + Shift + C and enter the ”headlineeffects off” cheat! (headlineeffects on if you want to turn it back on)
Now your Screenshots will be much more beautiful!

Does this work for the Sims 3 too? 🙂

There, it’s hideheadlineeffects true.
For Sims 2, it’s showheadlines false and plumbbobtoggle off.
So this isn’t working for me and the game actually says Headline effects off in the little cheat window when I type it and press enter but nothing is going away so what should I do????

Did you enter testingcheats true?

Press ctrl + shift + c easy peasy
Will this also remove the big Zs while they’re sleeping? If not, is there a cheat code to remove those?
This cheat does not get rid of price bubbles for tiles in build mode that’s what everyone has been trying to figure out in these threads. Please make a cheat for that and adding a slider for wall invisibility would be a game changer! LOVE THE GAME!
You need to press Ctrl, Shift and C at the same time then type ‘Testingcheats on’ and then you type ‘Headlineeffects off’ and there you have it 😀
