A brand new Sims 4 patch has been released across both PC and Consoles, bringing with it some new items (previously teased back in August) and a whole bunch of fixes and improvements! Let's take a look at everything the latest update has to offer!

Bug Fixes: New and Improved
As with every update, there are a handful of new fixes provided to us by the dedicated bug-fixing team over at Maxis. The team recently hosted a Q&A on The Sims official Discord, answering the community's questions on Quality Assurance and Verification. While we won't go into every single fix in this article, you can find the patch notes linked below! Also check out the recent trailer posted by The Sims Team going over the major bug fixes.
Bug Fix Highlights
- Several issues causing Sims to dance too frequently have been addressed.
- Family Dynamics have been rebalanced so some aren't triggered too frequently while rarer dynamics have more opportunities to appear.
- Relationship Satisfaction from Lovestruck has been adjusted, including a considerable reduction to relationship decay.
- Looking Ahead: Our October Base Game update will shift its focus toward Food, Dining, and Drink improvements.
New Create-A-Sim Items
This update brings six assets for children, including a brand new hairstyle, three Adult to Child conversions, and three new Toddler items. Check out all the new CAS items included in the new update below!
