The Sims Team has dropped a new The Sims 4 Maker Pack on the Marketplace just after releasing two yesterday. Titled "Soft Balance" by Comiko, this Maker Pack gives you 10 Build Mode objects in exchange for 200 Moola - or 2 dollars.

OH MY GOD DID THESE CREATORS GET LOBOTOMIZED OR SOMETHING. DO THEY HAVE AN AVERSION TO COLORS AND PATTERNS?
I know that I’m a broken record by this point, but do the makers not look at what the other makers released and think “Gee.. this looks like the past 35 things that just came out :“soft”, “clean” and “modern”. How about Summerween or something we truly haven’t gotten yet?
Another uninspired set of bland and clean furniture. Seriously, creators doing this kits lack originality, they always make this boring and beige sets.
Try to be different for once
Madlen and SixamCc are the only ones doing something in this program. It’s always the same thing.

Also Hydra brings originality, but apart from those creators it looks soooo repetitive.

hydra’s content maybe originality but at the same time like it’s made for completely different game than sims 4, maybe sims 2 cuz it looks kinda poorly made and doesn’t match at all with anything
So much of the Marketplace feels like it’s meant to be clean and generic, to be as broadly appealing to people as possible. It’s like most creators are afraid to do anything outside of the box, because anything too wild won’t be profitable. Now we have a Marketplace where nearly all the furniture sets are completely interchangeable. It’s like when The Sims 4’s packs were obsessed with bulky, cozy knitwear for like two years.

And ironically (or maybe not, cuz it logically makes sense) most of the top 5 marketplace bestsellers were stuff we barely see in the game (lashes, curved furnitures, boho set, and long denim skirt, with high heel pack being the only exception). I think despite what people say about the marketplace there’s still plenty of people willing to pay for rare items and honestly I wouldn’t blame them like what I wouldn’t do for a wedding veil head accessory pack even if it straight steals those veil meshes from EA hairs…

I wish they would at least add more swatches. Like, imagine that we got this kit, but in addition to these swatches it also matched the Paranormal or Movie Hangout stuff packs. Understated model, but with bright bold colors
Why do they refuse so often to put pillows and throws on the sofas and chairs?! If you’re not going to give us that then atleast give us a pack or kit that has just the pillows and throws that snap to the sofas and chairs so we can do it ourselves… I dont think I’ve ever seen a sofa in real life without something on it either pillows, throws or both… Even the center console on some for the remotes etc.
