There are so many custom traits for The Sims 4 that you can find all over the internet so I came to an idea to compile some of the most useful traits that you can find. These traits function almost like every other trait: some give certain benefits for skills, careers etc, some disadvantages and they’ll determine the whims of your Sims.
Installing these custom traits is pretty easy. After downloading a .package file trait just place it in the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder. Make sure you’ve enabled Mods / CC in your game!
Traits shown below are listed in alphabetical order. We’re not responsible in case these traits get removed or abandoned by their creators!
Make sure you keep track of custom traits on Mod The Sims because you can expect new ones to pop out every now and then.

Hi! So, if you don’t have WinRAR but do have Windows, your fine! So, go to your downloads folder.
Right click the traits/trait pack and select extract all (For without WinRAR)
Then, select all options in the new folder for the traits that comes up, right click, and select cut. Then Paste in your mods folder.
Not sure how on WinRAR, but good luck!
hey! on WinRaR its the same! kinda you make a new folder and drag it to the folder under mods and do exctract all
i cant download it!!
Open documents and look for the mod. Open up the mod (the traits on) and move everything in the file to downloads then move everything from the mod that you put downloads to the kids folder with all your cc. Then it should work.
Or you can just click download then drag the trait pakage into a folder that you made in the mods folder. I meannn it’s easier that way to be honest. 🙂 ‘Cause I was confused for so long with the extract way. Anybody like me can do it my way <3 – KRM

It looks like when they released Cats & Dogs, they updated part of the game that no longer allows for custom traits. There are tutorials to fix the traits individually, but no mod to revert.
The “all custom mods by SimmerSarah pack” I have downloaded and added to the mods file but they do not show up on the CAS screen…. What am I doing wrong? And I also have the CC and script mods checked under game settings….
When they patched the game for cats and dogs traits stopped working. This modder fixed some of them because she couldn’t do it herself.
