A few days ago we wrote about the highly anticipated Multiplayer Mod for The Sims 4 which has been in development for about 2 years now. The creator of this mod known as thepancake1 has finally released the mod to the general public, allowing you to set up the mod, configure the server and play The Sims 4 with your friends – together.
Down below we have a download link for starter files that you need to have in your Mods folder before proceeding with the Mod installation. For further information on how to set up the relations between a host and a client, as well as some other server configurations, refer to the linked Discord categories below.
Download The Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod from GitHub. The mod may get occasional updates so it’s good to keep checking the page (and the Discord server linked above) for any potential future updates. After downloading, extract the .zip content to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder. Make sure you have both Mods and CC enabled in your Sims 4 game options, as well as that you’ve enabled Script mods in the options.

It’s not officially released yet, I’ve joined their discord months ago and this mod is still in beta/alpha phase. even though the public can download it, expects some game breaking bugs.

How does it work with packs? Like if one person is wearing something from vampires pack and the other person doesn’t have that what happens?

Both people need the same mods and stuff packs if you want to disable the stuff packs sim supply made a video in how to do it
why do we have to join discord? I don’t even have it

Not sure why they require it, but discord is free and can be handy. I use it for other games as well

The mod is being completely rewritten by a new team. The discord community has also moved to https://discord.gg/DCFa8jA.
