In a series of tweets (that you can check out here) SimGuruRomeo confirmed that The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack will be bringing a brand new Trait that you can pick in CAS as well as two new Aspirations.
The first Aspiration is tied with Alchemy and the potion-making math, while the second aspiraiton is for Spellcasters.
2 new Aspirations. 1 for the Alchemy/Potion path, and one for the Spellcasting and energy path.

The new Trait is called The Magical Bloodline, allowing your Sims to become Spellcasters as they grow up – more specifically when they become Teens and older.

Not trying to @ you, but where does it say that this is a CAS trait? It sounds more like an inherited trait, like the Father Winter’s Baby trait from Seasons, to me.
