So it’s pretty much a copy pasted world impact effect like Eco Lifestyle, huh?

I am not saying you need to like it but really? You have to say for every pack that “It is so bad and I am NOT going to buy it” then you buy it later in time. Like if you say your not going to give EA money or attention than just don’t comment and don’t buy it. It’s so simple.

The amount of people who continue to give The Sims 4 so much attention, & money, despite not liking it is insane. They’re constantly dissatisfied by it & have been for some time now that it makes no sense to continue following the game, buying packs, etc, etc. It’s one thing to give constructive criticism for a game but at a certain point if the game isn’t doing what you want or isn’t living up to your expectations then at a certain point a responsibility falls on you the player to cut ties. The expectation shouldn’t be “at some point this game could get good or be better” simply because it might have that potential.

If The Sims 4 was a new game it would make more sense but it’s a 6-year-old game at this point & this Star Wars pack is literally the 35th pack to be released for it. How do people not know what it is at this point or understand the situation that the game or they themselve’s as the player are in at this point?

Its like a long term relationship. And given how I have been in a relationship with sims 4 since grade school. I am well aware the series will have it’s ups and downs.

Wow. More gameplay than all Game Packs that are not Parenthood and half the Expansion Packs. This EP is so good that is making up for Ecolifestyle.

You’re just visiting a Star Wars theme park in the game. It’s not making Star Wars “real” within the world(s) of The Sims (4)

You don’t seem to understand that this based off the real-life Galaxy’s Edge theme park. It has the same layout as the park. It features characters created specifically for the park. The planet Batuu was created for specifically for the park. The storyline the sim is following in the trailer is the storyline that park-goers participate in when visiting Galaxy’s Edge.

This pack is designed to cross-promote Galaxy’s Edge. It’s meant to get more people to go to the park in real life. I don’t know why that isn’t more plainly obvious to people.

In the trailer you are *clearly* going to Batuu. Not visiting a Disney park.

“In the trailer you are *clearly* going to Batuu. Not visiting a Disney park.”

Batuu IS the park.

Once again it isn’t making Star Wars “real” within the world of The Sims, it’s making it role-play. Your sim isn’t going to return from Batuu with force powers.

Read the article about it on StarWars.com

https://www.starwars.com/news/the-sims-4-star-wars-journey-to-batuu-interview

“Lucasfilm and EA announced last week that a galaxy far, far away is coming to The Sims with The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Available September 8, the pack will take players to Black Spire Outpost, the location featured at Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where they can create their own story with an allegiance of their choice.”

People kept wanting cc and such related to Star Wars and now that an official pack is coming out, they’re all whining about it

Some of them didn’t want an actual Star Wars pack though. Or at least not a game pack. Especially when other things are lacking that they prefer over this pack. Aliens from this pack will stand out way too much compared to GTW as in they’ll look so different from one another and not in the best way at least for me.

The more I look at the pack the more I wished they had made it more generic with Star Wars inspiration/Easter eggs. I think more people would find enjoyment in that since it wouldn’t be so niche. Since this is EA double dipping with two communities I wouldn’t be surprised if the budget was bigger than previous game packs. Never thought the costumes in game were a “warning” of sorts.

Comment just for suggestions not demand, do it or not is not a problem. Guess if someone who want their comment have weight for demand about some pack they should attack it with some hundred thousands $$$ rather than just comment and troll when be ignored.

Exactly. Expanding on Sixam would have been way more interesting and applicable to a broader audience. It really feels like a big commercial this way.
