The kit comes with 27 new assets, entirely for teens through elders and mainly focused on clothing items and accessories. While some items are duplicates between the frames, I did find that both feminine and masculine sims had some unique choices outside of sharing accessories.

The Sims 4 Autumn Apparel Kit Review
While I do think these pieces work really well when you have a large collection of packs, I do not personally feel that this kit stands well on its own. For the 100th DLC for the Sims 4, it falls flat. While the kit does have some gems, the pattern and swatch choices feel out of place and can struggle with matching or coordinating outfits. The choices of pastel greens, blues, and purples stuck out the most.
Although some options do come with matching patterns, allowing for coordination that can pull an outfit together.
I absolutely love Autumn, and I always enjoy seeing it in my sims wardrobes and playing through the season as well, but I do believe this kit struggles to stand on its own unless you have other DLC available to fill in the gaps. I find this is standard among kits, but certain kits like the Essential Glam kit did so much more. The Sims 4 Essential Glam kit completely changed the makeup selection and expanded the players horizons compared to the options from the 2014 Base Game release.
For the Sims 4 Autumn Apparel Kit, I would have maybe liked to see more stocking options, a bulkier scarf, more beanies, etc. I am, however, excited to see what modders and custom content creators will do with recoloring these pieces, and using them to create even more apparel items.
With the 27 assets, including any duplicates in between the masculine and feminine frames, I would personally give this kit somewhere around 5.5/10. I love mixing and matching the provided items with my pre-existing collection of CAS items, but it does feel required to see as much variety as I would hope to see with this kit.

This really feels like a kit that needed some of the stuff to work across the ages(yes I know we just got a bigger pack, but its still a pet peeve)
Did you know that the scarf that comes with this kit is visible with only 2 of 6 pieces of the same kit in women, and only 1 in men?
Did you know that the base game scarf is visible with ALL but one piece of this kit? By the way, the base game scarf is nicer.

I expected something more from this set, I’m disappointed, I don’t plan on buying it for now, I’ll hold off, there are mods with much better fall clothes
I bought it and I’m not disappointed. I really like the jumpers and the full body outfit, for both women and men. 4,99€ is not much, I’d rather not buy any fast food and spend it on kits.

I really wish they’d stop catering to the old money/clean girl/minimalist neutral crowd. This is SO bland. I was hoping for more things you see CC creators make(pumpkin, ghost, witchy patterns). Kits are supposed to be niche. This is just ugh bade game coded.
Yes! Exactly how I feel. I mean, I don’t use CC/mods so couldn’t comment on the variety there, but this kit and so much of the DLC lately is beige and dull.

What I REALLY want is to set an allday-outfit for indoor AND one for outdoor as catagories. If you set more than one outfit in the same catagory the Sims don’t care what they ware and you always behind them to change. Autumn cloths are for winter and snow not warm enough and too much for indoor. To choose “put on your outdoor-dress when it’s cold without snow” is the only way this pack would make sense for me.

Really, I love this set, I find the clothes very beautiful, dark or colorful, there is something for everyone, and the men’s sweater is magnificent, the handbag gives a chic look for going out, and the men’s scarf is really beautiful, with a beautiful texture, it looks very dressy, I like it. Remember that opinions are suggestive and are individual, so everyone’s tastes must be respected.
