VGCharts published a chart showing which games sold the most copies in USA, Europe, Japan and/or Global!
Their chart for 6th of September, 2014 shows that The Sims 4 sold 408,150 copies Worldwide in the first 4 days! (from 02/09 to 06/09). The game sold 179,368 copies in USA and 161,584 copies in Europe.

That’s not really enough, for a successful thriving franchise, and we have two week left for EA reviewing the games sales.
the game need at least 1.5 million – 2 million.
this 2 weeks ago i thought the game would have sold about a million but 450,000 isn’t what i expected.
Funny you should say that — the number is actually higher than VGChart’z first-week number for The Sims 3.
Keep in mind that it only counts retail sales, not online or pre-orders. It also is really just an estimate, and not official sales numbers.
