OFFICIAL LEAK: The Sims 4 Spa Day is getting a Refresh

…Google was able to cache the entire page with the information about the upcoming Refresh of The Sims 4 Spa Day!

OFFICIAL LEAK: The Sims 4 Spa Day is getting a Refresh

This Pack Refresh has been teased by The Sims Team for a few weeks now – and now we finally know which Pack is getting the upgrade first!

Without further ado – here’s what you can expect from the upcoming Pack Refresh:

WE’RE REFRESHING YOUR SPA DAY!

A refresh is when we take a Pack and expand on that core theme, adding new features that elevate that experience. This isn’t an add-on you have to purchase. You receive all these features with the Pack (if you have the Pack, it’s a free update)!

VISIT THE SPA

New trait incoming! High Maintenance Sims may struggle with trivial things, but visiting the Spa can lead to catharsis and let you relax those troubles away.

FOCUS ON WELLNESS

Don’t forget to invite the kids (yup, kids can now participate in Wellness activities). Plus, earn a few extra Simoleons by teaching other Sims how to find control through mindfulness. Additionally, take your Wellness to the next level and aspire to be a Zen Guru or a Self-Care Specialist.

PAMPER YOURSELF

Finish up unwinding with manicures, pedicures, and facial masks. And with the new aspiration, Sims seeking Inner Peace will want to pamper themselves more than ever. Ahhh, perfection.

EXPRESS YOURSELF IN COMFORT

We’re supporting nails now! New nail colors, designs, and shapes let Sims show off their style and individuality

OMG! This sounds very cool. I’m crazy over the nails!

  2. Kathryn Hoss

Nails, new aspiration, new jobs (?) and additional recolors/remeshes of the skill objects?? Ahhhh this is exceeding my expectations. I hope sims can now teach yoga to others.

The new jobs s you say, as I can guess is actually 1 new job with 2 branches

  3. Hussain Ahmadi

Other than nails and new aspiration it doesn’t confirm anything else.

There’s pics of new objects. Plus the pack itself has a lot of content so they made them work for kids and expanded on what’s there. It’s a free update, this is a lot more than I was expecting tbh

Woaw, now I’m actually excited about this refresh!
I can see that they added a trait, 2 aspirations (maybe 3?), new patterns on existing objects, new objects, new activities, even nails!
I did not expect THAT MUCH from a refresh and it’s really nice to be pleasantly surprised for a change!

      are not 3 aspiration
1 aspiration and 1 job with 2 branches

Really? Why use the term “aspire” then?

        I don’t think “self-care” refers to a job.

    WOW!

  6. Alex

oh cool! I might actually use Spa Day more often with this coming update

  7. Rene

Pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to hopefully more refreshed packs. To be fair, most of the packs if not all could use some polish and refreshing while some need heavy duty work.

  8. Jayce Logan

Heres to hoping we get some BG nail options and maybe some more crop tops meant to work well with the masc frame both in the pack and to the BG

  9. Laura Abigail Giller

I have the pack and Origin has updated, but I still don’t have the refresh update. What am I doing wrong?

  10. OG Lady Sim

As a long time Simmer (The very first Sims circa 2000), I’m probably in the minority when I say why the frick do I care if my sim has painted toenails or not? You can’t even see their nails unless you’re really zoomed in. Same thing with very detailed makeup, you don’t see it, other Sims see it but there’s never a reaction to it so its a waste of time. This was not really necessary but if people love it then who am I to say anything. I would’ve loved cars like Sims 2 had (Ford mustang anyone?) I miss my sim getting in and driving away in her mustang! Fun times…
