The Upcoming Kit is introducing Modular Wainscoting for your walls!
The Sims 4 Décor to the Max is the next Kit coming to the series. As shown in the official images shared by The Sims Team, the Kit will deliver extravagantly luxurious Build Items and Wallpapers. Check out the preview of maximalist-themed new objects below:
However, there’s more than it meets the eye. Or in this case more than what’s been shown in the official images.
SimGuruAsh, a producer working on The Sims 4 has started sharing new information regarding Décor to the Max Kit. Check out the new screens and information shared by the producer:
Facts
- “There are 22 to 23 new items…ish.”
- “There are some more subtle variants, or features that can kinda mix in.”
- “There are some super colorful and patterned swatches, and then some that are more simple!”
- The Kit comes with Wainscoting for 3 different wall heights, allowing you to make your walls stand out even more!
- “You can put them over mirrors. But they also are just wall trims. They’re a whole new item, too.”
- The new wall trims are excellent for Windows! You can even check out how it looks like in the second official image above.
- The Kit “goes especially great with Get Famous, Vintage Glamour, & Paranormal.”

Third picture from top of article. It is a dark green one, covering a window. 🙂

Thank you! The Wainscoting looks beautiful for some builds I’m doing! I am going to get this Kit just for the Wainscothing!
Modular wainscoting is actually a good idea. I’m curious to see how it looks when tiled over a section of wall (rather than just one of each size as in the preview image).
