If you’re playing on PC / Mac you can prevent this issue from ever happening before the official fix!
Over the last few days we reported on the Save Game issue that’s been happening with The Sims 4. Basically players would report that they would receive an “Error Code 0” message after using the “Save” feature in the Game Options.
SimGuruNick, Quality Analyst working on The Sims 4 has explained that The Sims Team is working actively on resolving the issue. While we wait for the solution the team has come up with a universal solution for both PC and Console players that lets you prevent it from ever happening. The Official Workaround involves disabling the “Join A Career” option in Configure Neighborhood Stories menu, as well as making sure you don’t have a Wedding Cake at your wedding. You can read more about the Official Workaround here!
If you do want Sims in your Neighborhoods to join new Careers and enjoy their wedding cakes when planning a Wedding with The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories – there’s a mod solution! That’s of course if you’re a PC/Mac player.
TwistedMexi has swiftly came up with a Mod that will prevent the Save Game Error from ever happening in your game. This is a Temporary Fix Solution that will ensure you never stumble across this issue. This is a perfect solution for PC / Mac players to ensure all your Save Game progress remains with a clear conscience until The Sims Team releases an official fix.
You can download the mod by clicking the button below. You’ll be taken to TwistedMexi’s Patreon Page where you can immediately download the .zip file. Simply extract the contents to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder and ensure you have Mods / CC enabled in your game options.
Good luck and let’s hope the official fix is soon ahead!
