EA Releases A Hotfix Patch For The Sims 4.
There's a new The Sims 4 Update across PC, Mac and Console platforms Xbox and Playstation. The latest patch addresses several bugs and issues, including the ones introduced with the previous game patch. Such as the ability to drag items to the trash or sink, which should be fixed in this update, according to the recent Sims Direct statement via Discord. The pregnancy test glitch is currently under investigation.
A patch is rolling out now for The Sims 4 with fixes addressing the following:
- The ability to drag spoiled items from Object and Sim inventories to the trash or sink has been restored.,
- The Sharing is Caring Whiteboard can be placed once again!,
- Gnomes have stopped constantly wiggling, jumping, or shaking after being placed from Build Mode.,
- Plants will keep their names and information when placing a Lot with gardened Plants from the Gallery.,
- Household members that have custom painting and are placed via Manage Households no longer lose their texture when you switch to that household. This includes Cats, Dogs, Horses, Werewolves, Fairies, and regular Sims.,
- Seed packets from Gnomes can now go into your Sim's inventory with the "Put in Inventory" interaction.,
- We have addressed stability issues introduced in a prior update on consoles. We will continue to monitor closely.
Coming soon: We've identified the issues impacting Sim pregnancy; this change was made as part of tech optimizations, however after consideration we're working to revert this to resolve these issues. Installing the Latest Sims 4 Update
You can get the latest The Sims 4 Update on the following official launchers and platforms:
- PC: EA App, Origin, Steam, Epic Games
- Mac: Origin, Steam
- Playstation: PS4 and PS5
- Xbox: Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S
You can download the latest Sims 4 Update by checking for a Patch through the EA App, Steam or Epic Games launcher for Desktop. If you have Automatic Updates enabled the update will automatically download through your client program. In case your EA App is not working properly, ensure you've cleared your app cache
If you play The Sims 4 on Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 4 and 5 you can request a new update by checking for updates under The Sims 4 game in the Main Menu. If you've enabled automatic updates the Patch should download right away.

Man the pregnancy bug still isnt fixed?? Guess the child birth mod still wont be working 🙁
Anyone else having an issue with leaving the lot and Sims at work immediately leaving work/school? It’s affecting my game a lot. I was hoping this would be a patch fix.

Is there a report filed on the forums? Especially if you’re playing vanilla. If there is a reported issue make sure to click me too and add any additional info so that helps prioritize the issue.

I have an issue since the b&h update that no cc counter works anymore . Were hoping for fix on sims4studio but there‘s none . Had someone else this issue & a Solution for it ?

They need to make it where the game doesn’t freeze up on you and not keep messing with the adjusting graphics when playing on console Xbox One
Wish the Dine Out pack or something messing it up was patched, I still having issues on where the restaurant work attire keeps changing back to the defaults
