The limit (of Kits) does not exist. The Sims Team has officially revealed the next pair of Capsule Kits coming to The Sims 4, and this time they’re inspired by two iconic naughties chick-flicks. The Mean Girls Kit and Clueless Kit are both dropping on August 27th for all players at $3.99 USD each, both bringing a distinct fashion identity shaped by their respective films.

Get in loser, we’re going shopping!

The Mean Girls Capsule Kit is making fetch happen with stylish Y2K looks that’ll turn Sims into teen royalty.

Bring iconic characters to life or have your original Sims own their aesthetic to make your clique so stylish that even Regina George and The Plastics will agree that you’re like, really pretty.

The limit does not exist with all the ways Sims can mix and match styles. Whether they’re strutting the halls in miniskirts and matching sweaters, getting ready for a rockin' jingle bell performance with a festive matching hat, repping the Mathletes with the signature team jackets or showing everyone they're a COOL mom in a velour track suit, these looks offer countless ways to prove your Sim is the talk of North Shore High.

You go, Glenn Coco! The Mean Girls Capsule Kit also brings stunning swatches to create a variety of looks, even if they don’t even go here. We’re sorry if anyone gets jealous of your Sim, but they can’t help being popular.

And don’t forget: on Wednesdays, we wear pink.

The Sims 4: Clueless Capsule Kit

Your Sim could NOT be a farmer in these clothes. Take a look at the official description and screenshots of The Sims 4: Clueless Capsule Kit below!

Ensemble-y challenged? Ugh, as if!

The Clueless Capsule Kit brings '90s style to Create a Sim with looks fit for the most popular Sims. Inspired by the film’s unforgettable fashion, this collection is packed with nostalgic outfits ready for a new age of stories.
From Cher’s iconic plaid set to effortlessly chic everyday looks, every outfit makes a statement. After all, nothing says confidence like coordinating with your inner circle.

As if your Sim’s wardrobe could get any more fabulous! Layered tops, button-front skirts, workout wear, and Tai-inspired overalls make it easy to mix, match, and create standout looks, whether your Sim is “rollin’ with the homies” or flying solo.

The Sims 4 Mean Girls & Clueless Capsule Kits Release Info

I mean yeah I like the 2000s style, it brings me flashbacks from The Sims 2

Okay but these two slap. Like the Mean Girls shirt with the cut out b00bs. ICONIC. The santa outfit? ICONIC.

They did really great on these ones and I hate to admit it lol.

Cue every townie showing up wearing the cutout shirt, Santa hat, and eyeball ring…

ngl, i love both films but i wish they’d release something for male sims only, cuz let’s be real male cas is statving

I remember watching an interview or livestream where the devs were talking about get together. One of the female devs explicitly mentioned ‘mean girls’. In that pack with the club system they added a sexy Santa outfit as a reference to ‘mean girls’. And now it looks like they sell that same idea for second time? Lol.

Anyway, as much as I like that film, I don’t think I will get these kits.

I don’t remember the devs explicitly mentioning either film, but it has similar vibes, be it from a different decade.

If we’re only getting cas and build/buy can we at least expand the male cas? How many more miniskirts, sweaters and low waisted jeans we need for female sims? And this is a good example for in-game ads. Spongebob, Bridgerton, now Mean Girls and Clueless… The only good brand deals in the series were probably IKEA and H&M from sims 2…

Capsule kits? So like mini kits? Kits, which were supposed to be mini stuff packs? Like stuff packs were supposed to be mini expansion packs before they invented game packs? At some point, EA will be charging players per shoe.

You mean like the Sims 3 store? Instead of a whole sets you can buy a single item?

I actually find collaboration kits to be a lot of fun. The last two times have just been a good example of how my interests unfortunately differ a lot from the Sims community’s lol.

That’s because the Fancy video specifically referenced Clueless

Why is everyone suddenly fat in the marketing pics though? And ethnically wrong as well…They prey on an iconic movie to sell the kit but then shove us with that nosense…

As in the accompanying trailer they are using premade townies as ‘actors’ playing the actual Mean Girls characters. Presumably, this is because they were unable to get clearance to use the actual actors’ likenesses for marketing. Which is to say, if you have a problem with it, you should take it up with the corporate legal team, not the concept of a Sims game representing real people. You know, the point of The Sims.
