Before I begin talking about all our achievements that we’ve made in the past, I’d like to thank people who, without their support, Sims Community wouldn’t be where it is now.
Big THANKS to my staff members Leighanne, Zerbu, Nate and Danielle who devote their free time helping the site out and writing all sorts of helpful and informative posts and articles. Thank you Sims4Thoddy for helping me out with not only our Giveaways, but also providing your tech help and tips that make this site fast and secure. A thank you also goes out to people over EA who support us throughout this awesome Sims adventure.
And last, but certainly not least, my thank you goes to all of you who make this website that it is now!

By now, some of you have your new fancy duds, banquet table, flavor-gushing fountain, and party attitude with The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff*. But while you might know how to throw a regular party, you may not know how to party to the max. And you want to know, oh boy, do you want to know. Well now – and I’m wearing sunglasses as I type this, so you know I’m legit – I’m going to tell you how to really party.
Here are a handful of tips to throw a top-notch party in The Sims 4.
Plan a Social Event! Click your Phone and select Plan a Social Event. If you’re going to throw a party, do it right. Pick the perfect guests, hire a caterer, the whole nine yards! Or, just do as your budget allows. You can throw a party with Goals or just have people over to hang out – remember, party on your terms.
Pick Out the Perfect Outfits. You have Luxury Party Stuff (or you should), so your Sims might as well look their best. Use the dresser to Plan Outfit and set your Sim’s Party Outfit to make sure they’re dressed to thrill. If you want to make sure all of your attendees are dressed to the nines, you can load into your Sim’s friends home and fix their outfits as well.
Invite Interesting Friends. You can have all the best outfits and food, but a party will fall flat if the attendees are dopes, jerks, or pedestrian individuals. If you’re into the arts, be sure to recruit painters and snobs from the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a raucous occasion, befriend hot heads and bros. Whatever floats your boat, float it with interesting Sims.
Hit the Gallery to Up Your Guest List. Your fellow Simmers have created some incredible celebrity look-a-likes and new, original characters wearing the killer The Sims 4 Luxury Stuff clothing. Go onto the Gallery to see if there are any must-invite Sims for your guest list.
Learn a Party Trick. Your Sims needs to entertain their guests. Food and beverage and good company go a long way, but when the conversation lulls, your Sim’s guests will need something to catch their eye. Or, ear! Learn a party trick, like playing the piano. Or, have some sweet dance moves. Whatever you do, make it good.
Plan the Menu. Your Luxury Party Stuff banquet table can hold several different foods. It’s possible to quickly put out plates of Sausage and Peppers, Roasted Chicken, or Almond Macaroons – or you can choose your favorite recipes from the game and use those. The new fountain can also add some fun deliciousness, and can be filled with chocolate, cheese, caramel, or cider. Flexibility and variety are the spice of life, and the key ingredient of a great party (though, if Google is correct, they’re not actually real spices).
The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff is out right now, and it’s the best way to enhance your parties in The Sims 4. Give it a go, tell us what you think, and share your best party stories with us!

Rachel Franklin, The Sims 4’s Executive Producer, decided to answer some questions about why Simmers still haven’t got Toddlers in The Sims 4 after many months have passed.
The following statement has been taken from Kotaku. You can read their full Article HERE!
As mentioned, there’s nothing more painful than not meeting your players’ expectations. Some players have up to five years of content and experiences in The Sims 3, and we had simply underestimated their passion and loyalty for that game including features such as toddlers. Asking fans to essentially break up with The Sims 3 and start a new relationship without more information was a little naïve. With The Sims 4, we made the decision to focus on fundamental changes to the Sim behaviors such as multitasking, emotions, traits and interactions, and we focused first on the later life states. Toddlers are not simply small Sims, they are a completely separate Sim type, deserving of the same level of investment. We want to do it well. It is something we’re exploring but we don’t currently have more information to share around when or how other than to say our fans will be the first to know.
