I downloaded Windows 8.1 on my iMac via Bootcamp last week and it works amazingly! Super quick, and I’ve installed all expansion packs (apart from Pets and Into The Future) and one stuff pack AND lots of Store and Custom Content and everything works great. Highly recommend it.

The installation is very simple and takes hardly any time.

Same here! I’ve been using bootcamp for three months now to play TS3 and it works like a charm! If you need help with bootcamp here is a link which helped me so much when I first started using it:

Oh, good. Another 32-bit piece of crap that’s ten years behind every other game on the market, and will stutter and chug like a fat guy running uphill after fifteen minutes of playing. Woo-freaking-hoo.

Now I don’t know if this is just me, or what but I’m just worried my laptop won’t be able to handle the game. despite the fact i have almost every sims 3 game installed at the moment plus other games and software.
The one this that worries me is the video (graphics) card ?? my laptop only has internal “intel HD graphics” everything else my laptop is more or less ok with, apart from the 2gb of memory, but i could probably get a way around that one.
