12. You Can’t “Motherlode” Your Real-life Bank Account
What it’s all about: “Motherlode” is a cheat code used to increase your sim’s cash by 50 000 simoleons (the currency used in Sims 4) and probably the oldest cheat in the book. If you’re an avid “Simmer”, you’d be lying if you said that you haven’t used it at least once in your Sim life.
How it would affect reality: Apart from the world being your playground, could you imagine the consequences of a cheat like this in real life? Nobody would work, because nobody would need to work – which means no farmers to farm, no supermarkets to stock food, and no eating for you.
